Beautiful location, right on the river, toliets and showers very clean. Very friendly staff. Overall a lovely stay definitely coming back

Very friendly host, provided a leaflet of campsite rules, door codes and info on the surrounding area.

Other campers on the site did not respect the rules, kids running across our pitch, other campers pitched across the boundary line into our space for parking the car and were very loud. This is no fault of the owner as when she was doing checks she did ask them to calm it down. Considering we were not in for most of the day, a more relaxing environment would have been preferred. Could use a occupied sign on the showers as I repeatedly had other campers trying to force they way in whilst I was using the facilities.

Lovely location, only short walk to the café, local shop and a pub. Perfect for stargazing and as a good starting point for a walk. Lovely scenery, very peaceful with the stream running just next to the campsite. Showers and toilet vere clean. Take some fire wood with you as firepits are coming with the pitch.

Campsite road running through is very busy with campers going to use the facilities and with walkers passing by. Pitches, especially electric are very narrow so someone is constantly walking past, not much privacy. There are only 2 showers, although even though it was a busy campsite never had to wait in a queue. Only 1 sink in washing up facilities and no fridge or freezer for your ice pack.

The location by the stream , the pitches were a good size , picnic bench is provided with each pitch which is a nice idea. The couple who run it are laid back , and you can have a fire pit which is rare. The showers and toilets were okay and didn’t have to queue which was great as it’s only a small site. On the whole a nice stay and I would come again.

Have to put in code every time for toilet and shower which is irritating , but I do totally understand as passers by on Cumbrian way . There’s no plug for the one washing up sink . The cleanliness has room for improvement , manky shower mats could be replaced with something more hygienic. and regular in-depth cleaning especially of toilets , for example the same cobwebs were above cubicles the whole week I was there .

What a gem of a place. Was surprised to get this for just 1 night and would have loved to have stayed longer. Great space with privacy, trees, sound of the river, a firepit and even a wee fridge with milk for the coffee. Owners were so helpful and friendly.

Clean toilets and shower block, quiet remote campsite. The stream running alongside was absolutely beautiful.

Nothing i disliked, the rivers quite fast so some may dislike the noise at night but I found it helped me sleep.
