A first-rate small campsite. No frills such as catering, shop or entertainment but all the basics well provided.
When I arrived it emerged that I'd made mistakes on the booking form. I thought I'd booked one person on pitch with electricity. Actually I'd booked two people without electricity. All was patiently unravelled and courteously corrected by the lady, then even when I said it didn't matter she insisted on returning £4 that I'd overpaid.
My stay was all too short.

My only problem was lack of WiFi but for two overnights that wasn't a disaster.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Everything you need for posh camping . Definitely will be coming back.

Picturesque campsite with clean and simple facilities. Firepits next to each pitch, nice tables, friendly welcome.

We loved the small beautiful site. Large pitch's. Toilets spot bon and the showers of very high standard.

The fact that there was a picnic bench and fire pit free to use.

Lovely little site simple but very effective.very friendly helpful owner,nice size pitch,toilet/showers clean,peaceful and quite loved the sound of the river next to pitch. Ideal for walkers as part of cumbria way although we just went to relax and unwind.picnic table and firepit on each pitch which thought is a nice little touch logs available to buy can't fault the place.
