Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: The site is run by a lovely family. It looks like the pitches are quite close together but actually there is lots of space. Forward thinking site where you can rent your own shower/toilet on your tent pitch.
The lodge is well designed and well equipped and loved how it had its on veranda with a bbq.No em va agradar: The lodges can easily sleep 6 if the sofa was a sofa bed instead of needing a z bed

Good size pitch for us but tents didn't have much room for cars.
Great location with the train station 10 mins away to visit Battle, Rye & Hastings. Lots of hot water facilities for showers/washing up.No em va agradar: More hardstanding would be more beneficial as we opted rather than grass. So much rain very muddy on last bit of track into site and also by pitches near shower area and drinking water tap by gate at the end.
Would welcome hard core there also for £35 pn

No em va agradar: It wasn't all hard standing even though we requested it. We got stuck in the mud on pitch. Not 100%level. The showers we're cold. Seem to be a mad rush each morning with all campers to who goes 1st.no tarmac roads just mud tracks. Entrance to site looked a shambles. No good for disabled mobility scooters as roads were so uneven and felt trapped to the pitch. as we found out. Booked for 3 nights left after just one. Narrow entrance to the site with the trees.
We are sorry that we didn't fulfil your expectations we are rural site having endured a wet March and April not presenting at our best but our other guest have enjoyed their stays so far this year. Maybe not the best location for mobility scooters but the topography of the site is natural being in a valley. We cant agree that we have a rush for showers with over 20 on the site and they have never been cold as all previous reviews would suggest better than most peoples showers at home. Our tracks wet but plannings not mud.... Clearly we were not for and for that we apologies.

The lodge was beautiful and very spacious for the two of us and our dog. It felt like real luxury.
We particularly appreciated how easy it was to get to and from the site without a car; it was only 10 minutes walk from the station but also a very easy hours walk into battle. We didn't get to try the local pubs but they looked easily walkable too.
Overall we had a wonderful short stay and cannot wait to go back!No em va agradar: –

Tradueix (A través del Traductor de Google)Em va agradar: Bluebell Coppice was a great place to stay with our small vintage caravan. Our pitch was easily accessible to the toilets and the shower block which were modern and clean. The honesty shop was a lovely bonus. The owners were really friendly and helpful. They leant us an electric heater as the temperature plummeted to -1, which was a game changer (out stay was in April 2023). We had a lovely walk around the site which included a small lake. We saw and heard lots of birds, spotted rabbits and squirrels from our caravan which our grandchildren loved.

Thank you for visiting, we are still learning and doing our best with challenging weather conditions this spring, a constant dilemma with people wanting grass when the weather is good and full hardstanding when not. Will continue to listen and seek to find the perfect all weather solution.
