No em va agradar: Closed cafe and shop when we were there. Owners had a wedding to cater for. Owners have since apologised for not telling us at check-in. If you are choosing this site because of all the great reviews, like we did, I suggest checking cafe and shop will be open, so you know if you need to stock up first !

Just to re iterate my email . when you checked in we did not know 4 staff would be off so couldn't open up, we hoped you would accept our apology.
We were closed Fri eve for essential prep time and Sat but re opened Sat evening at 8.15pm and served many of our camping customers. (selling plenty of the local cider & ale).
We are less than 2 miles from a pub that do excellent meals, 4 miles from Tesco so no one need go hungry for long.
It is a very rare occasion that we close our tea room and restaurant/ bar and games room.

Camping here gives such fantastic views its worth that little climb back up to your pitch.
Did you manage a walk into the woodland & a rest in the Pavilion? We didn't get the opportunity of seeing you on Monday to discover what we have or a chat with the farmer, hopefully next time.

No em va agradar: Some might find the facilities a bit rustic. Pitches need to be more clearly marked, numbers missing. WiFi kept dropping even though we pitched right next to the antenna.

The toilets and showers are well looked after and the couple that run the Farm are extremely friendly and welcoming. We ate there on a couple of occasions and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Definitely a little gem of a place
