Natural setting is beautiful
Pool was nice and warm with a good slide.
Online booking was easy for us but others were clogging up queues to complain about not being able to access and there was no option to do in another way.
Restaurant attached to pool was nice we had chips as takeaway and cooked breakfasts both nice.
Parks dotted around that our six year old loved.No em va agradar: We were not shown to a pitch or given any guidance on how to set up but then enforcement came round rudely telling us to change once fully set up. Told us our awning had to come down despite us paying extra to be allowed an awning. They eventually agreed if we attached it to the campervan it could stay- taking up the same footprint and if anything making us face towards the next pitch more. We had to spend time in the middle of our holiday completely unpacking and repacking just to rotate the awning by 90 degrees.
Neither of the shops shown on the map were open.
Shower block half shut which was not signposted, they were badly designed with no dry area in the shower cubicles to get dressed.
The stairs down from the toilet block were unlit just as you exited a lit area which was dangerous.
Swimming changing area was small and badly designed - exposed plaster in both, nowhere for a family to change together
no lockers and no signage to the poolside cubby holes which were very small.
Booked two 9am swims before coming and both times found the venue not open by 9. Swim slots are only 45 mins total including time to get changed before the session so already tight. This also forces both the arriving and leaving swimmers to change in the same small changing room in the same 15 minutes .

We're really pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful natural setting of the park, the spacious pitches, the pool and slide, and your experience with the restaurant and children's play areas. It’s lovely to know your six-year-old had fun too.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay, particularly regarding the pitch setup, awning confusion, and facilities. We understand how frustrating it must have been to have to reconfigure your setup mid-stay. We are constantly reviewing our arrival guidance and signage to make sure this is clearer for future guests.
Your comments regarding the toilet and shower blocks, lighting, and swimming facilities are extremely helpful. We take all feedback seriously and will be passing your observations on to the relevant teams to address these areas and make improvements.

No em va agradar: Everything. Reception staff as helpful as a ashtray on a motorbike no lighting on any of the footpaths but full of mud. They have spent a lot of money on holiday park but nothing to make you want to tell family or friends to visit would be too embarrassed to send anybody here
The money they have spent on it this year waste who wants to sit outside to watch the evening entertainment maybe July or August but rest of year noway.

Thank you for your comments due to the severe rainfall, we experienced flooding on the park. The safety of our guests and owners is our priority in this situation. As a goodwill gesture, we have amended the booking dates for our holiday guests.

No em va agradar: It was a bit too busy for my liking and I had to queue to use the toilets and to empty my waste cassette
The toilets were not in great shape but probably driven by the high footfall and shocking weather so would not asume thats always the case
We also couldnt find our spot anywhere and ended up just setting up in an empty pitch which was a bit confusing.

The pitch sizes if you could work out where you were supposed to be pitched.
This site has so much potential
Would consider going back if under a management that knew what they were doing.
The premier shop just outside the site great food and well stocked
Billing fish and chips shop just outside the site wonderful friendly staff and a huge range of delicious food and the washing machines excellent job and good value for money too.
There was lots of little park areas great for younger kids and lots to do for older kids too.
Lots of swimming activities tooNo em va agradar: The reception staff.the lack of management. The fact they thought it okay to lock both shower blocks and disabled toilets for hours on end saying we could only use the facilities at the venue which was a car drive away from the pitches.
The misinformation on available facilities. The sauna and dip was finally built as we were packing up.
Our biggest complaint really was reception right from when we arrived so rude.
Not just one member the other woman drowned in her own lies. If she had of upfront and honest and just said she was clueless I wouldn't be writing this we did get half hearted apologies several times and the manageress was more concerned with her runny nose and eyes watering than anything on site but did manage to get one toilet block reopened.
