Love this site you have a lovely quiet private pitch, we have been coming for about 6years now it's our lovely getaway !!!!

Nothing to dislike for us it's perfect for us !!!

Big space for van .very quiet as only people on site.
Lovely meal at pub .

No shower block.
Not a easy walk with fishing tackle to ponds. little plank across river made it so we could only carry so much at a time .
Use to be a fantastic camping ground gone down hill .
No phone signal or WiFi. We carry EpiPens so it's a important one that we can ring a ambulance if needed.

No showers or toilets on site

Very quite and beautiful and privet due to the high hedges between pitch’s.

Their are only of things (1) no signage saying you have arrived and no onsite (2) reception and no wardens (3) no toilet and shower and pot washing or laundry or gray waist disposal.

The pitches were great. The privacy hedges, gravel stoned , extremely private.

Poor signage on site, difficult to find. Noone on site to welcome. The constant barking of dogs, seriously non stop, somewhere from houses nearby.

Great site with massive pitches, great to unwind and relax for a couple of days, pub within walking distance (would advise booking). The site itself has no amenities but this was ok for us as we are self contained.

not really a dislike, but the entrance to the site it a little confusing not signposted, walk down to the fishing lakes no obvious route from site. when you read country club you expect country club vibes, but this is not the case, the site appeared to previously be a lot more than it is today, rather run down which is a shame as it could be quite a special place to unwind, with a revamp of the onsite facilities, signposts down to the fishing lakes from site with advertisement for the cafe.

The best thing about this site is the privacy with each pitch encircles by a hedge, with a hard standing in each together with a grassy area.
This hedge also gave a nice shaded area in the very hot weather we had when were there.
Plenty of walks direct from site around the various fishing lakes, where there is also a café at the far end.
One point of caution, if you are in a motorhome and decide to drive to the café then there is a narrow bridge just before the entrance, its very tight but it can be done if the vehicle is not one of the very large types, there are no warnings as far as I could see.

Pitch sizes, privacy, location, beautiful fishing lakes.
This is one of our favourite locations you cannot find pitches of this size and with this level of privacy any where else. No WiFi and different to get a phone signal but this is a positive as you totally switch off and relax.
Truly a wonderful peaceful place

Great quiet site and very private

Better if toilets and shower block operational but nothing we couldn’t cope with having the Motorhome
