Fort Wilderness RV Park and Campground

As Fort Wilderness RV Park and Campground is set between two national parks – the Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway – nature-filled days are plentiful around here: have an amble about the hiking trails that crisscross the locale, fish for trout in the Cherokee river, and explore the region to find cascades like Mingo Falls, one of the tallest of its kind in the Southern Appalachians. While you’re in this part of the world, you surely must get out to Dollywood, around an hour’s drive north, with 40 rides, 15 park shows, and waterpark slides.
