不喜欢: We arrived about 7pm, we have informed reception about our arrival time, instructions where to camp was sent by email and wasn't clear enough, gate to get to the camp place was locked and we didn't get a code so we had to park our cars at the top and carry all camping equipment. That was about 5 min walk down the hill, there was no wheelbarrow available, even if we been told there is, also there was no staff to open the gate and no signal at all, so we couldn't even contact anyone. Going there We knew that we can't park car by the pitch but the distance between car and pitch was to much. We stayed 3 nights and no one from the staff even came up an spoke to us, the worse camping place we stayed so far. Toilets and shower far away and very dirty. This place is definitely not for family camping.

喜欢: I want to experience wild camping but not quite brave enough to go completely wild… this camp site was perfect for trying wild camping yet still having a shower, a toilet and other people nearby! Loved that I was able to pitch my tent anywhere in the camping area and wasn’t given a designated spot. 不喜欢: Toilet is a fair distance from the camp site, however I was on a walking trip so it wasn’t too much of a problem during the day as I got the steps in. It was only a bother at night due to the terrible weather making me want to stay put in my tent! A small compost toilet on the campsite would suffice I’ve seen lots a reviews saying the car park isn’t close to campsite- this is true, however there are wheelbarrows to borrow to put your items in so again, this wasn’t a bother for me.

喜欢: The stream side pitch was really nice and very much appreciated a patch of WiFi to help with maps. The staff were also incredibly helpful

不喜欢: Toilets were quite far for the middle of the night and there was also a really awful smell along that track

喜欢: Fantastic position - really friendly staff

不喜欢: All looking a bit tired - maybe the time of the year. I couldn’t find a hose to fill my water tank in my camper- had to drag my water but up a hill - no where to empty the loo either

喜欢: Relatively good price, clean facilities, friendly staff

不喜欢: The walk over from the tent to the facilities is kind of an annoying distance for if you need the bathroom in the middle of the night. You can’t park your car next to your pitch either (unless you have an electric hook up I think) so kind of have to trek over with your bags

喜欢: Absolutely loved the landscape, amazing walks right on doorstep, only 15 minute drive from shopps, pubs etc yet felt like we were very deep in wilderness. Lots of activities on site, great campsite and fire pits provided! Would stay again.
