喜欢: Absolutely marvellous!! This is our recharge haven!! It’s peaceful and the tranquility of the place is amazing. Here’s the funny bit!! Of late it’s been raining a lot. So sheep in the field opposite. It starts raining and they dash down the hill for cover, just to 5 minutes later come back up the hill. I will recommend this place anytime

不喜欢: This is clearly an ongoing project site with 38/40 pitches, mostly unoccupied, but only 1 gents toilet in the building! Hopefully will improve in time to come.

喜欢: Lovely quiet place stayed in the walled garden area, beautifully kept grounds, great dog walking area where dogs could run free, good showers and clean too, Willie was very knowledgeable about the local area and places to eat, loved the adults only rule too, will certainly be back.

喜欢: The site was easily accessible, quiet, clean and tidy. We had a pitch in the walled garden area. We stopped off for 3 nights on our way north to meet our children and grandkids. The site doesn't allow guests however Dumfries House is very close and this was an excellent venue to meet everyone and it was one of the places we wanted to visit anyway. Great play areas there for the kids. WC & Shower facilities at Catrine House were limited to 1 for male and 1 for female of each but seems to work fine and very well kept. We particularly liked the fact that we could let our dog Lily have a run in one of the fields which was secure and we had a short walk to the river where she had the chance to paddle which she loves.
不喜欢: Worked well for us so no dislikes.
