Peachey Place Campsite

喜欢: Owner met us, as we were late, and showed us our non electric pitch which was in a quiet area as requested. Ground was grass, flat and firm. owners were very accommodating with my request and excellent communication. We Had nice views of the horses and various birds including a whitethroat 😁 we were very happy with the site, it's nice and quiet with background traffic noise depending on the wind, my partner didn't hear it at night and I sleep with ear plugs anyway. We were very happy with the facilities, very hot showers 4 in total including the family room. Facilties were clean. Impressed with the recycling bins as I'm well into my recycling ♻ 😂. Place to get fresh water, and get rid of grey waste were signed. We prefer back to basic campsites that are in touch with nature, this fitted the bill 😊

喜欢: very friendly and welcoming owners. Large pitches on a very spacious , level and well-drained site Several toilets and showers available, kept clean and with lots of hot water for washing up etc. Close to M62 but minimal motorway noise Easy walk along the canal to the village with shops, post office, pubs and take-aways A good centre for visiting places of interest and near quiet country roads and t for cycling.

喜欢: Nice level grass field, had been freshly cut, loads of space per pitch. Richard very friendly and helpful. Only stayed one night as on my way home. Would definitely stay again. Toilet and showers were clean and hot.

喜欢: Lovely and helpful people Clean enough facilities (Toilet block and Shower block) Pizza delivery straight to the park! Very helpful as it was bad weather!
