喜欢: Woodland site with 250 acres to explore. We were situated near to the newer shower block and toilets which were kept clean. Day passes were very reasonable to the daily activities, the children participated in bushcrafts, climbing, rifle shooting and kayaking. We were there too early in the season to use the swimming pool unfortunately. Activities were well run by very friendly staff who were fantastic with the children. Shop and bar onsite. Both close relatively early but it’s not a busy site for the public as they cater more for schools and groups during the week and private scout events at weekends. Close to local amenities for shopping, takeaways and pubs. 30-40 minute walk and 10 minutes in the car. Lots of other things to do locally. If you want a relaxed friendly site this is perfect.

喜欢: Nothing. Noisy, dirty site with poor pitch layout

不喜欢: Really disliked this site. Basically a large field with hook ups going all over the place. Rows of motorhomes/ trailers/ caravans lined up, kids running riot around the vehicles as not laid out properly for playing. Toilets and showers were disgusting, filthy and for £40 per night, it was a complete waste of money. We left a day early and would not recommend.

喜欢: Pitches are huge, although it may take awhile to find your designated pitch as the markers are just a small disc on the ground covered with grass & leaf's. Considering the amount of rain already this year, the grass pitches were still firm & hold up really well. Stopped over the Easter weekend & there was plenty of activities for the kids, all reasonably priced. Great little bar with indoor & outdoor seating.

不喜欢: Toilet & shower blocks are miles from most pitches & could do with updating however they were always kept clean.

喜欢: Big open spaces, wasn't too near other campers. Lots to do on site but not for under 5s so we didn't really use any of it. Pub on site

不喜欢: Showers and toilets were freezing. Could do with a normal park for the kids to go on unless we missed it. 6 amp on the electric hook up wasn't enough

喜欢: Beautiful forest location, really enjoyed having a drink and playing pool in the bar. Staff v friendly. Italian restaurant Carpenters Arms a short walk up the road was a gem! Did the park run at Sherwood Pines, a well organised and well attended event on Saturday morning.

不喜欢: The electrics kept tripping out even though we turned our input down to just 1k. Not the end of the world but I think a stronger supply would be welcomed. No Wi-Fi to the pitch area either…and no phone signal which is not your fault, made for a quiet back to nature weekend :)

喜欢: Massive amount of space throughout the site and also great pitch sizes. Friendly staff and lots of activities for the kids. Only a few minutes away from Clumber park, Thoresby Hall and Ollerton where you'll find a Tesco and McDonald's

不喜欢: Some items in the shop at extortionate prices
