Tyckte om: Stunning area, the owner was so helpful when we got a little lost and he came to help us 😂, he also gave us recommendations of walks to go on. Had a great stay in our small tent. Really great price. No wifi but i prefer it that way to enjoy the nature

Tyckte om: No fuss, a great stop-off on a bikepacking adventure. There's a basic portaloo which was relatively clean and stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitiser.

Tyckte om: A basic, no frills location for our camping adventure. The simplicity of the site allowed us to truly connect with nature without the distractions of modern amenities, which is exactly what we were looking for. The facilities were clean and well maintained, making our stay comfortable despite the minimal setup. We appreciated the straightforward experience and will definitely return for future trips. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for an authentic, back to basics camping experience.

Tyckte inte om: I would like to suggest that the grass on the fields could be trimmed a little shorter. This would make it easier and more enjoyable to take walks around the campsite, allowing visitors to fully explore and appreciate the area. Shorter grass would also enhance the overall comfort and accessibility for campers, especially those with young children.

Tyckte om: simple no frills site with plenty of space and a friendly welcome. Pub and facilities only a short walk down the road.

Tyckte om: Perfect place left alone nothing there but a toilet and a tap was great, Sat nav to place was a bit sketchy even with maps I’d suggest a sign post outside the gate as it’s just that a gate you guess is place and go though, so a sign would make life a lot easier, but pub right by and a shop it’s great definitely use again

Tyckte om: Ownership by a lovely man. We loved the peaceful relaxed atmosphere. We loved popping into Gawsworth and the little pub there.

Tyckte om: No frills, open space, relaxed site in great surroundings. Just pull off the road into a massive flat field and get on with it.

Tyckte om: 100% wild camping, lovely field , the grass could be a little bit shorter but you can’t expect much for the price you paying. Lovely owner new to market. Portaloo on side.

Tyckte om: We liked the ‘back-to-basics’ nature of the campsite. The ground was very level and you had access to neighbouring field with plenty of space to exercise the kids and dogs. Although it mentions no fires on Pitch-Up we were allowed a campfire with the landowners permission. Robert, the campsite owner, was welcoming and accommodating.

Tyckte inte om: Could do with some extra Porta-loos as there is only one. The access to drinking water is from a blue pipe on the floor so this could do with being installed into a tap on a wooden post. However, the campsite has just opened and it’s the landowners first time setting a campsite up so I’ve got high hopes for this one in the near future.
