Pencarnan Farm Caravan and Camping Site

Gostou: The location is amazing, beach is unreal. Facilities are great, very clean and stocked well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back

Gostou: The facilities were clean.

Não gostou: I was on holiday with my 80 year old mate who wanted electric hook up whilst I did not. I was not allowed to pitch next to him unless I paid for electricity I wasn’t going to use and wasn’t able to use as I don’t have a plug, cable or appliances in my tent. They said they knew the pitch wasn’t going to be wanted by anyone else but they didn’t want to risk me connecting up and stealing the electricity. There were just me, my mate and two others in a vast field. I had to pitch about 200 metres away which changed our experience of going on holiday together. I paid £99 for three nights and wasn’t trusted not to steal electricity. I’m a retired teacher and don’t steal as I’m sure is true of 99% of their customers.

Do gestor: Hi James, This review has come as a surprise to us, as you were so understanding at the time! You requested to move from a non-electric pitch to a 16amp motorhome and tourer pitch. We usually don't allow tents on them, but Liv was making an exception. These pitches come with an extra charge for the hookup. Unfortunately, we have had issues with people hooking up to electricity, so it's now our policy to charge the extra for the pitch itself. When this was explained to you, you said you understood, and opted to remain on the pitch you booked originally. I hope you still managed to enjoy your stay. Sarah Bookings Manager

Gostou: Beautiful, clean and tidy site in perfect position for the coastal footpath. More than enough on-site facilities. Easy to find and access. I accept that the facilities in May on a Monday and Tuesday aren't going to be in great demand and therefore good of opening were limited

Gostou: We have been staying here for 30+ years and it’s just as lovely as ever.

Não gostou: For a mid-week off season stay (with no fresh food in the shop, no coffee shop and no beer or pizza) it is disappointing not to be offered a lower rate overnight stay. The ladies toilets also needed cleaning/mopping.

Gostou: Beautiful views, very friendly and helpful staff. The courtyard is great for socializing and having a place to sit, especially when you are coming with just your tent. A shop for provisions, a coffee bar and pizza van is useful, especially if you haven't got any cooking gear. the campsite is right by 2 sandy beaches and the coastal path. If you are after scenery this is where to go.

Não gostou: Disliked is too strong a word but what was less than ideal: I had to look around a bit before finding a level spot for my tent as most of the field is sloping. Glad it wasn't too crowded, so I did find a space that worked. No kitchen facilities, was disappointing. You do need to bring everything with you. There are washing facilities, though.

Our facilities are listed on Pitchup, and we do not have public kitchen appliances available. The Beach Field is sloping, and so we leave plenty of space so that campers can find a spot that works for them.

Gostou: The view, the pizza, the bar, the staff friendless, hot showers and nice facilities, spacious pitches and location. Dog friendly. Great access to the beach and coastal path.

Não gostou: The showers only last five seconds before you have to push the button again, however I appreciate there is a water supply issue but give us a minute to wash hair :D lots of young toddler kids running around and screaming at the courtyard most of the evening, not the campsites fault obviously but not enjoyable trying to use the bar and pizza kiosks.

Gostou: Beautiful View, access to the beach

Não gostou: Very expensive for what it was £65 for one night, toilet block was situated furthest away from camping sites meaning was long and dark when needing to use the toilet overnight

Do gestor: Thanks for your review. Our prices are clearly advertised (indeed paid) before arrival. The toilets are a 2 minute walk away from Carn Llidi View. It's a trade off between a stunning sea view and closeness to the facilities.

Gostou: A spacious field with EHO. Plenty of room for the dogs to run, onsite facilities are clean and well maintained, including a shop, coffee shop, bar and pizza oven. WiFi also available in the courtyard. Just a short 5 minute walk to the small sandy beach, if you can walkthrough coastal path to the beach of White Sands.

Não gostou: The approach road is narrow and difficult when passing other vehicles. Phone signal is poor in places.

Gostou: Friendly reception on arrival, huge fields with spectacular views, easy walk down to beach, excellent showers. Shop was open and coffee shop too though didnt use. Others like pizza and bar not open as too early in the season. Good value and overall very good.
