Gostou: Lovely site , very clean and stunning scenery, showers and toilets were clean and a good size already booking again

Gostou: pitch size was good, friendly site and clean. humps in the road kept the drivers speed down around the site. Quiet site, nice bar, good seating area.

Não gostou: Be aware of the speed humps some are very severe unless you slow down. Other caravanners using our pitch as a thoroughfare to the ponds. Not the sites fault, but when someone passing trips over your caravan step......

Gostou: Great if you like fishing, pools all round, facilities were good but not many when the site was full.

Não gostou: More information on arrival i.e. about rubbish, no map of the site, appearance let down by some of the static caravans and expensive for what was there if you do not like fishing.

Gostou: Lovely campsite, fully serviced pitch with plenty of room and facilities clean and spacious. Kingfisher bar and grill on site was fantastic, really friendly atmosphere with great grub

Não gostou: Parking seemed restricted with it being a fishing lake too so we had cars parked in front of our pitch that made it difficult for us to maneuver the caravan into place and same when leaving

Gostou: We arrived after reception had closed however our pitch information was left in a box outside for us to collect. On finding our pitch it was spacious and clean. We were close by to the showers,toilets and the sink to wash your pots. Waste disposal is round the side of the toilet block along with bins that’s are emptied regularly. There is also a disabled bathroom which is lovely and all bathrooms have heating which is just what you need when your cold 😂 they were very clean as well. The play park was close by as well if you had children staying with you. Theres a cafe,bar and fishing shop on site also. It has quite a few fishing ponds but some are match ponds only so you would need to check in the fishing shop before setting up to fish. ALL the staff that we interacted with were all very nice and helped where they could from the girl in the kitchen who stayed behind so we could eat to the man in the fishing shop who found us a rescuer in three lads when we couldn’t start our car. The food is amazing and a reasonable price. Everyone was very friendly and made you feel welcome. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Gostou: The location - set around lakes The friendliness of the staff. Just a short walk into the town yet it was so quiet on the site. A cafe on site too is a big plus. Clean and very warm shower block

Gostou: Stayed on a super pitch loverly and large overlooking the lake nice clean site helpfull and friendly staff breakfast was a great start to the day and sun carvery was delicious

Gostou: Clean showers and toilet block. very peaceful.

Não gostou: the only thing i could slightly complain about was how many pot there was around the site
