Exploring the surrounding wilderness was an adventure in itself. From leisurely hikes along winding trails to exhilarating encounters with local wildlife, every step brought with it a sense of wonder and awe. Of course, no camping trip would be complete without delicious food cooked over an open flame. Polubione: Nice site not too busy even on Bank Holiday weekend. The cleanest rugby club changing rooms and showers I have ever used with 24hr access and outdoor washing up sink with hot water was super useful was ideal to have a choice of supermarkets within walking distance too

Polubione: Beautiful scenery, the site is overlooked by hills and is about a 10 minute walk into Kendal. Supermarkets and garages close by and good breakfast on site. Really lovely customer service and the field is well maintained. No issues with any other campers, but the staff were clear about the arrangements for security if we had needed them.

Niepolubione: The only negative was the communal showers (think school changing rooms). However they had hot water, were regularly cleaned and had plenty space to hang your belongings.
