Ik was niet zo blij met: Where do I start!!! Pitched furthest away from toilets even tho my booking requested to be near the loos. Grass was long so constantly had wet feet when walking back and forth to the loos. Now the toilets, they are on the side of the pub, dirty and smelly. No privacy at all. First block no working lock on door so hubby had to stay on toilet duty to make sure no one came in, unisex showers with just a shower curtain and the other shower directly opposite to you not even arms length again these are unisex!! No where to change once showered unless you struggle behind the very unhygienic shower curtain! Needless to say we didn't shower while on our weekend which was rubbish !! Not like its the cheapest place around as it wasn't! We may of been better off wild camping! At least we would of had a better view than the pub carpark ... tractors blasting past every few minutes as obviously they were taking advantage of the great weather , however when these monster tractor and trailers are back and forth throughout the night was a bit of a joke!! Absolutely zero atmosphere on the site (field, next to the pub carpark) , will not be returning .. might be ok for motorhomes using it as a pit stop for a longer journey but as regular weekend campers we wouldn't be returning. Oh supposed to be an adult site yet there was a group of campers with a bunch of young children ...

Ik was blij met: Very relaxing stay, free showers and toilets, chemical disposal point and drinking water all a stones throw away from the camping field. Nice pitches some with EHU The lady who checked us in was very professional and explained things even giving us a sheet with the wifi code again free also when I booked a table for the evening was informed that I wouldn't my pitch and ehu refunded Very dog friendly Great selection of bears Seems a very busy pub with a large number of people visiting for the food

Ik was blij met: The food here is amazing! Great place to stay, nice beer garden and lovely spot on the edge of the moors.

Ik was blij met: Nice site across the road from the fabulously understated Rising Sun Inn. Great location and amazing food and they even take the price of the camping off your bill. Couldn’t ask for more!

Ik was blij met: No nonsense camping in a field on the edge of Bodmin Moor beside The Rising Sun pub. The washroom was immaculate and the pub had a lovely atmosphere and excellent food. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Ik was blij met: The Rising Sun Inn is to be highly recommended. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. The food was excellent: well cooked, tasty and attractively presented. Our stay on site was comfortable, and conveniently positioned to receive the WiFi connection in our van. Superb!

Ik was blij met: The location is brilliant and is 5 minutes from the dual carriagewayn which connects to you between many places on the West and East coast of Cornwall. The staff are very friendly and the campsite has easily accessible 24/7 facilities too.

Ik was blij met: Campsite I'm sure is great in summer and better weather but right now it's a muddy mess, the car park to the pub which you drive through has pot holes so big I'm sure we would of disappeared if we hadn't been careful 🤣. Facilities were OK although needed cleaning more often due to the weather and mud situation and the walkers that were using them due to the key coded doors being left open. The one issue that's not great was the amount of people with dogs using the campsite to take the dogs to the toilet and then on two occasions not picked up the mess! We didn't use the pub as the stay was for business not pleasure but it looked very inviting. WiFi works quite well on site

Ik was niet zo blij met: Toilets/shower left open for anyone to use and leave a mess. Not cleaned often enough for this reason. Dog walkers using the camp field as a dog toilet.
