Langdale Lakes

Ik was blij met: Lakeside location was tranquil and picturesque. Lovely walks around the lakes. Very near Lincoln. We recommend this site, the welcome was very warm and a genuinely lovely couple that run it. Jackie called me to say I left money on the electricity meter system. It was decided I wanted this donated to air ambulance . Very honest as I had not given the meter a thought. It’s a very economical way to pay for electricity usage. Would recommend and would return. Thank you

Ik was blij met: Beautiful grounds which are really well maintained. Very friendly, helpful owners. Clean facilities. Good location for walks. Easy access to Lincoln by bus.

Ik was blij met: A genuinely friendly welcome. A beautiful location with a couple of mature lakes for fishing but also some good walks. Ehu is metered, and fresh water on pitch. No drive over waster buy they do offer containers to use. Didn’t use facilities but plenty did - so can assume all ok. Site is adjacent to a train line - traffic all day, does ease during night. We would stay again.

Ik was blij met: We had a very friendly and helpful greeting - nothing was too much trouble. The pitches are very well set out, making reversing in and pulling out with a towing caravan easy. The site is very peaceful and we noticed thoughtful touches when walking around the lakes, such as brushes on benches and flowers such as roses and hydrangeas adding pops of colours amongst the greenery. Pulling out of the site onto a main road was made easier as the sign directing to the site had a gap in it that was the perfect height and size so that visibility onto the road was perfect - everything really was well thought out. We will definitely be returning here - I can't recommend it enough!

Ik was blij met: Beautiful natural site , well cared for and very clean facilities. Easy access to get a bus into Lincoln. Friendly and peaceful.

Ik was blij met: Everything!!! Beautiful site, hosts were friendly & helpful. Great location…we got the bus into Lincoln for the day. The site is beautiful, with some lovely walks and our fur baby loved the dog park. This was her first experience off her lead!!! Lots of lovely extra personal touches making it extra special. We’re always a bit worried about staying on a site with seasonal residents after a negative experience. But I can honestly say the residents on this site were extremely friendly & welcoming. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Jacqui & John you’re doing an amazing job!!

Ik was blij met: This is a beautiful campsite , very relaxing , quiet , idyllic, great if you like your fishing , great if you dont ! The hosts are lovely people very approachable , nothings to much trouble and the little touches around the site are lovely , very dog friendly theres a great woodland walk for the dogs off lead just a really lovely place

Ik was blij met: Beautiful setting. Owners are making a real effort to encourage biodiversity with good results. A well laid out site giving some privacy to pitches. Owners always available and helpful. Good bus service into Lincoln. The city of Lincoln is a gem!

Ik was niet zo blij met: Railway line is very close though you quickly become accustomed to the relatively infrequent trains (some run at night). When the site was busy, which it was on our final day, it would definitely benefit from another shower room and a couple more loos.

Ik was blij met: Lovely setting alongside the 2nd lakes with lots of wildlife to look at. Very friendly and helpful owners and well organised facilities. Close to the bus stop to travel in to Lincoln which we thought was a “hidden gem”. The walking tour of the City and the Cathedral are 2 x things to put on a visitors itinerary and can be highly recommended.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Perhaps 2 x shower rooms and 1 x separate toilet is not quite enough if the site is full of visitors. It didn’t bother us as we use our own facilities but our friends rely on “provided toilet & shower”. The trains trundle past a couple of times/hour but not at a breakneck pace making lots of noise.

Ik was blij met: Amazing site so relaxing and peaceful. Lovely fishing lakes if you like to fish. Lovely dog walk around the lakes. There is a pub just up the road in Langworth. Nice facilities and the Warden couldn’t do enough to help if needed. It is ideal for visiting Lincoln and there is a bus stop just outside the site
