Toilet block spotless campsite clean and tidy caretaker very friendly

Very clean site toilets were kept clean daily even had the option to have a bath for £1 which is brilliant after a long day of walking. The pitch size was plenty big enough for our tent and level. Even the people who have motor homes perminatly on the site were really helpful with places to visit and things to do which was lovely. The site is situated close to a local shops/local pubs. We really enjoyed our stay here and are hoping to return soon. Also being able to use the sister site which has an amazing pool which is really easy to book.

Loved the pitches, very spacious and water and drainage included. The showers were excellent, plenty of room and hot water. The site was very reasonably priced and the village itself was beautiful and had everything you need and only a few minutes walk away. We'll be back to stay next time we visit the area.

Close to the town, hard standing and good showers

Overflowing bins in utility room and chemical disposal room.

Loved that I asked whether we could be close to the showers/toilets as we had young children and they did this for us. Everything was to hand. It was a lovely site.

Facilities were excellent as were the staff. Pitch size was really big and well laid out.

Overlooked by people sitting on the caravans decking areas, but not a deal breaker.

Location was great, facilities clean and staff very helpful. Lots of caravan owners on site that are there frequently, quieter in the evenings which suits us. Spar only 5 minute walk down the road and easy access to A75 which makes exploring really easy too.

We love everything about this site and area. It's not too big so the kids can wander but you can still keep an eye on them. It's very relaxed with a mix of tents, tourers & static caravans round the edge.

There was no WIFI this time as ut was awaiting repair. Not really a dislike just unexpected.
