Non mi è piaciuto: Facilities block , sinks not working for washing dishes no heating in showers or toilet block no toilet seats Unisex toilets and showers .... really ! Poor lighting on the site not working over toilet cubicles

Mi è piaciuto: Staff were really lovely and pitches were a good size. only a 10 minute walk into Albert as well. We only stayed 1 night to break up the journey back to England from Germany so the location was great.

Non mi è piaciuto: some of the toilet lights did not work and the tap in the handwashing sink was broken so we had to wash our hands in the washing up sinks outside.

Non mi è piaciuto: On our 2nd day staying at the campsite, we retuned early afternoon to our motorhome and it was lovely and peaceful….then at around 4pm a load of cars arrived with lots of dogs in them. As they were setting up camp, the dogs continually barked and barked. The owners didn’t seem bothered by this and this barking carried on for at least 2/3 hours. It sounded like we were at a dog kennels (so loud) and at times the dogs were attacking each other too. It was horrendous!!!! By now the other campers on site were all gathered together, complaining about all the noise. I decided to go and speak to the manager on site. I was a little taken back her her attitude she told me that I already knew about the dogs arriving that day? which I didn’t! No one told us anything. Apparently there was a dog race the following day and there was 200 dogs taking part with a lot of them arriving that evening/morning. Her words were to me, I cannot go and tell the dog owners to shut the dogs up, as a lot moreother dogs were going to arrive later and make even more noise. She told me my only option was to leave the site and go and stay at another site 20kms away which she could organise for us. My wife and I decided to stay that night using earplugs to sleep overnight then we got up at 6 am and left the site soon after as we knew the dog race started at 8 am. I really felt sorry for the other campers who had to stay for another night or two listening to the dogs barking continuously. Also the toilets had no seats (normal for France) no toilet paper (not normal for France) and no soap either.

Mi è piaciuto: Great location to visit the Somme WW1 museum and the memorial sites. Friendly, clean facilities , pleasant generous pitches. Bread van calls most mornings. Easy access to town center.

Non mi è piaciuto: Facilities a little tired. A bit of train noise - but not at night.

Mi è piaciuto: Very nice site, good size pitches. Good spot 10 minute walk from town centre and close to the WW1 cemeteries . Friendly helpful staff. There is wifi but I did not use it. Would definatly stay again if in the area.

Non mi è piaciuto: Keep in mind unisex showers and toilets. It did not bother me but some people might have an issue with this. There was only one small fridge with a very small compartment for freezing ice blocks.

Mi è piaciuto: Nicely laid out tidy site with plenty of seats in communal area. Clean facilities. Friendly staff, 20 min walk to supermarkets and town centre. A great location for exploring the local area and it’s history. Great value

Mi è piaciuto: Site is located within walking distance of the town of Albert. The site had a number of grassed pitches well spaced out and slightly sloping, when we arrived it had been raining and our pitch was a little damp but still ok. Usual mixed shower and toilet block which was clean each time we used it, plenty of hot water. A little odd to see toilets without seats or toilet rolls so not so comfortable to use. Pot washing and clothes washing sinks available but you will need you own plugs. Left out of the site and you have an area for a nice walk which can get you into town near the train station takes about 20 minutes turn right and it's 10 minutes to the centre of town, good selection of of places to eat and also a number of bakeries. Ideal for the Somme, good museum and monuments to the fallen nearby.

Mi è piaciuto: Nice well kept site . Pleasant welcome . Toilets and showers clean and plenty of hot water . Handy for visiting the Somme.

Non mi è piaciuto: Hand washing sink not working so had to use pot washing sink. Bit noisy with trains ( and cockerels but didn’t mind these )

Mi è piaciuto: Maginifique!!!! Friendly staff quiet and peaceful great pitches loads of dreat walks highly recommend Sophie was fabulous and fresh bread available at pitch and croissants definitely stay here again picturesque ideal for walkers nature lovers and cyclists Merci Sophie!!!!

Mi è piaciuto: Amazing site with excellent and clean facilities. Owner is very helpful and can even rent a bbq free of charge!!! Stayed 2 nights and loved it !Large fishing lakes nearby and a town 10 minutes walk away with everything you could need! Would 100% return
