Spitfire Park

Mi è piaciuto: Such a Wonderful campsite really peaceful and secluded, but not far away from the town. Only about five minute drive or there’s a coastal path. Staff were really helpful as we struggled to pitch up our tent due to bad weather we also had a great breakfast in the morning. Facilities are good and have warm water in the showers, which is always a positive! I think there is Wi-Fi available however, this time we chose not to use it. This campsite is such good value for money as we stayed two nights and this is our second time at this campsite thank you! :)

Mi è piaciuto: The team were friendly and relaxed. You could pitch anywhere in the camping area which was a good size. Our pitch was nice and level with minimal stones in the ground. Showers were hot. Cafe on-site where you could get a hot meal, cup of tea or a beer, although we did not eat so can’t comment on the food. We were close to Perranporth beach (5 minute drive) which was beautiful. There are a range of activities available to book such as skydiving and teens (under 17s) driving lessons.

Non mi è piaciuto: Shower and toilet facilities definitely could use a deep clean, although we did see cleaners there during our stay. Washing up area did not have any hot water. Cafe was only open 9-5 so couldn’t enjoy a dinner there unless we ate quite early. Beware if you have young children that there are kids driving lessons taking place, aeroplanes taking off etc so some hazards but it didn’t disturb us too much.

Mi è piaciuto: Real friendly staff loads of space get to pick where to pitch stunning views great walks on the coastal paths to the local beaches cafe was great and perfect with a new bar to have a pint and watch the skydivers and planes

Mi è piaciuto: Nice area, had loads of activities if you wanted to do them

Non mi è piaciuto: There was lots of nice after 10pm from other people in tents, .. I didn't feel safe being on my own.. This was the first time I've felt like I wanted to go home after being on my own camping

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely clean showers and loos. Helpful staff members and an overall nice friendly environment, the views were stunning site includes a coastal walk which provides amazing sunsets over the sea. Camp is on an active airfield able to watch planes land and take off and parachuting.

Mi è piaciuto: Lovely site with helpful and friendly staff. Great cafe, loved the breakfasts and latte. Lots of space and places to walk nearby.

Mi è piaciuto: Location was good to get to Perranporth beach and looks like there are lots of activities that they provide. I think they focus more on these and the skydive element than the campsite.

Non mi è piaciuto: Nobody was there when we arrived at 4pm to tell us where our pitch was. Just parked on the edge of a field. Shower was ice cold (had to move to disabled). No toilet roll, hand soap or paper towels. Everything was closed, nobody around and quite unclean. Looks good online but not so good In person, I wouldn’t recommend.
