Tresco Farm

A aimé : Excellent family site, run by lovely people. Has a toilet block with flushing toilets, showers and sinks, and washing up shed with electricity for charging your phone. We had a bit of engine trouble whilst staying here and the family could not have helped us more. We are so grateful and will definitely be back.

A aimé : The location is perfect to explore the nearby towns and beaches, Padstow and some of the nicest Cornish beaches are only a very short drive. Large quiet campsite with plenty of space. Basic camping facilities (a few toilets and a couple of showers) that were kept clean. Everything we needed for a couple nights.

A aimé : The campsite had all the basics you would need such as showers, toilets, plug sockets, sink, fridge and freezer. The showers were really warm too.

N'a pas aimé: The fridge was always full and not sure if the food belonged to people or was free to take so may need clearing out. Sometimes the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper however they were always stocked when I went back to the bathroom

A aimé : Easy to find , no fuss check in . Our host were great with fab info on our road trip round Cornwall Very quiet and great nights sleep . For a back up basic with hot showers , fresh water . Highly recommended stay .

A aimé : Extremely good value for money. Paid £25 a night to stay in a bell tent with electrical hookup and had access to a microwave, kettle, toaster and mini fridge inside the tent. The toilet and shower building had hot water and was kept quite clean. The location was perfect- less than 10 minutes from local town Padstow, the local village was a minute away, and beaches 10-15 minutes away depending on which one you went to. All quiet at night time, no disturbances and generally a perfect campsite. Also there was 4g and 5g phone service so able to use phones at campsite which I’ve not been able to at other locations I’ve stayed at. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to go Cornwall and doesn’t want to spend ridiculous money on accommodation.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thanks for the review, really appreciate it! We did have to keep the grass longer this year than we’d have liked to due to the amount of rain, if we had cut it as short as normal, the field would have been torn up a lot easier.

A aimé : Location - excellent base to explore Padstow, Seven Bays and Cornwall. Quiet pop-up camping site.

N'a pas aimé: Fridge and freezer dirty from putrid food and liquid. Filthy workmen toilets and shower porta-cabin - not cleaned once during our 5 night stay (should have been 7 nights) apart from when I mopped the shower floor. I also got robbed by fellow campers. My advice - avoid this camp site. It’s a death trap.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi Matthew, this review is quite frankly ridiculous. We spoke on numerous occasions during your stay out none of these issues were outlined? In fact, you spoke to myself and another member of my family whilst we were cleaning the toilets. On top of it all, you were reported to us by multiple guests for harassment which is why you left early! I’d recommend any campsite owner to stay for away from him.
