A aimé : Lovely and quiet field (between the passing trains) used the what three words someone else had put up to find it with ease as others had said it was hard to find (I would say make sure you load it up well before as the signal wasn’t great when trying to load close by) beautiful horses to watch in the morning over breakfast.

N'a pas aimé: Only that there was no water in the porta loo so no chance to wash hands only some alcohol gel that looks like a previous person had left. And oddly website had said there were only 2 pitches available and when we arrived it was a big field and only us there!

A aimé : nice clean site, canal is a 10 min walk away and worth a stroll along the canal, 25 mins from santa pod which is why I booked an stayed. lots of room between everyone. just beware if coming the location on pitch up is incorrect the site is right by the towcester road of station road junction. Tesco is 10 mins drive if need supplies and bilsworth village is close by with a small shop and pub.also a dayboat hire is only a short drive or 15 min walk away.

A aimé : First time camping. Little bit tricky to find. But that was because I didn’t go to the end of the road. Once there not a problem. 10mins drive from camp to Silverstone all on one road. Owner came to make sure we were all ok. Would definitely recommend.

A aimé : Stayed overnight while bikepacking the Grand Union Canal. Campsite is exactly as advertised. Back-to-basics field, slightly sheltered from the road, toilet, drinking water. Correspondence with campsite wasn't perfect, but once I got hold of them they were very helpful. Local amenities are fine. Little village shop around the corner, couple of pubs. All walking distance.

N'a pas aimé: Finding the place. The directions given within Pitchup are useless. Location given is about a half mile from where the site actually is - quite a bit when on foot/bike. Couple of suggestions to the owners: What 3 Words: Gives a location accurate to 3x3 metre. The location for your site is deflect.scratches.campsite Google Maps: Add the campsite as a location on Google Maps. It's easy done within the Google Maps app. Lat/Long: The grid given in Pitchup is well off. The actual grid to your site is 52.1803554, -0.9377190
