Me gustó: We had a lovely one night stay, and were lucky to be the only ones there. The location was stunning with lots of walks nearby, would love to come back to explore more. The toilet was immaculate.

Me gustó: Fantastic site with beautiful views, especially of the morning sunrise. Owners were lovely and friendly. Facilities as advertised, with clean toilet and sink located near site entrance. Private and tranquil little getaway, we certainly recommend.

Me gustó: Its a great little site , with only basic amenities, that was never a problem for us. having said that the toilet and wash facilities were excellent. The site has the most beautiful views of the plains of the Yorkshire Wolds. I am very well aquanted with the area but was still amazed by how lovely the views were. I found the owners to be very friendly and more than happy to help with any of our needs. The main thing that i did like was just how quiet it really was , other than the odd noise from sheep or cows on the farm there was nothing

No me gustó: Nothing really dislike i think next time i will put a little more thought into setting up the tent as there is a slope in the field. Owner said the ground is hard or stoney but i did not have any problems inserting a spike into the ground.

Me gustó: Absolutely gorgeous rural campsite with divine views and plenty of cows and sheep. Greeted upon arrival with a lovely tx and some friendly chickens. Quaint little walk down to the field and wheel barrows are provided to transport your camping gear. We set up further down the field where its a bit flatter as the campsite itself is on a hill. We stayed during a storm and it was really fun and romantic! Donation box for eggs was a delight for breakfast and we loved the clean onsite wash room. In the morning the campsite owner came to greet us which was a really lovely touch to our stay. We will definitely be back with the children. Francesca and Martin 🙏🏻

Me gustó: An amazing campsite. Claire is such a friendly host. The site looks down into a beautiful valley, there are fresh farm eggs in the morning, a really welcome weekend get away with the kids.

Me gustó: We loved this campsite! We were greeted by the friendly and helpful owner and her flock of curious chickens when we arrived and shown through a woodland area to the small but very picturesque camping field. Our pitch had stunning views over Brownmoor Dale and we had plenty of space for our tent and an area to sit and cook outside. The facilities are basic but clean and well-stocked. We had no issues with the hard ground: we took a mallet to help with our tent pegs and slept on sleeping mats and it was all fine. Our only regret was not waking up in time to see the sunrise! We're already planning another visit to check out more of the walks in the local area.

Me gustó: Excellent. Very relaxing, peaceful, back to nature campsite with a lovely view. Lovely, clean toilet facility with sink. Delicious eggs (and honesty box) for breakfast. Can't fault it and hope to be back in the future. Little girl (2yr) loved it with space to play and run around. Hosts are lovely & friendly and happy to help. Ground is hard (as you are warned) so take a little mallet or a firm soled boot to get your pegs in!!

Me gustó: View of the valley was lovely, communication was great, and the bacon butty brought to the tent was perfect on a Sunday morning whilst packing up. Ot was also a perfect location for our event (mtb marathon)

No me gustó: The whole pitch was very slanted, which made it hard to find a good spot. The floor was extremely harm and stony which made it hard to pitch. The water was recommended to be boiled as had not been tested and it was drink at your own risk, in the heat this was not a suitable option as we were having to wait a long time for the water to be cool enought to drink. Bottled water was available at £2 per bottle, due to the heat we had no option but to buy as it was cold water , which was frustrating.
