Me gustó: Nice little site just down the road from us. Good facilities, nice and clean. Marcus was very friendly and has a wealth of knowledge of the local area. Highly recommend others to stay.

Me gustó: Open space, knowledgable host and good facilities.

No me gustó: Park run on Saturday morning, I’m an over weight middle aged male, I felt shamed and inadequate watching the athletes excel in their morning run 🫣

Me gustó: Great facilities with immediately warm showers- come prepared to make a cosy fire. Marcus made our stay special and we left with some fresh woodland honey from the shop too!

Me gustó: Toilets and showers and hot/cold running water. Electric kettle. Firepits and logs. Visit from site owner Marcus - very pleasant and interesting.

No me gustó: Fridge turned off and half full of old, smelly food.

Me gustó: Location, peaceful and quiet, clean.

No me gustó: Uncomfortable bed. A single sleeping bag was provided instead of a single duvet and pillow.

Me gustó: Peaceful setting which is great for exploring the Cotswolds, likeminded campers, on-site park run for runners!, simple but effective facilities, no cars on the field, huge areas of beautiful woodland and fields for the kids to be wild in, soaked in nature, big skies and stars at night, no dogs (apart from the hosts), safe feel to the site. It’s been well thought through as a site, and it was a fairly unique camping experience. Your ability to be separate from other campers is limited by only your ability to wheelbarrow your stuff as far as you can!

No me gustó: Slightly abrupt/rude hosts at times made us feel a little uneasy, but I can see how this approach can help enforce the rules and therefore the enjoyment for all, various points with no hot water/toilet paper/firewood was annoying especially as the overall cost to stay at this site is quite high, but once informed the hosts dealt with the issues. Also, the additional £10 per night (!) for a fire bowl was steep. Pitches are undefined which is nice in someways, but it was tricky to find patches of flat ground for larger tents as a group, but that’s a balance with the “wild” nature of the site.

Me gustó: We had such a wonderful time staying at Wolford woods. The host was very welcoming and helpful. The cabin was complete serenity. It was lovely to be immersed in the woodlands. We would definitely go again!

Me gustó: Beautiful location, option to pitch in open wildflower meadow or clearing in native woodland. Well organised and unspoilt. Kettle and shelter available . Had a great stay. Loved it. Couldn’t fault it.
