Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Friendly atmosphere, good facilities, helpful staff
Disliked: This isn’t a dislike, but it would be great if the pub served meals.

Flat ground to sleep on, enough room if car is parked infront of tent

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: The walk trail right next to the camp are lovely, access to two water taps from the tent pitch, the arcades are good for young kids, could sit down the river area all day in good weather. Toilet facilities were good. Wasn't too noisy. Town nearby via car. Loved the parks. Will be booking back up again.
Disliked: I only got the toilet key and a map to the pitch on arrival, I feel like people would benefit from a quick explanation on arrival. There is no signs for the toilet block from the tent site, especially in the dark it can be tricky. The pub is not child friendly at all, even at early evening time. The shop on site is extortionately overpriced.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Good location Within 15mins drive to Lowther Castle Within 30mins drive to Helvellyn walk Adorable brown rabbit around us
Disliked: I booked electric grass tent for 3 nights and this site (20B) arranged to me. But the site has its slope. When I sleep inside the tent, I am gradually sliding down to the end of the tent! Even when I cooking. The cups and plates are sliding! It is not ideal to be a pitch up grass tent campsite.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Loved the site in general, lots of walks, lakes/rivers within walking distance of the tent pitches. Shower/toilet blocks were always clean tidy. Plenty of drinking water taps.
Disliked: Shop on site has limited stock which wasn’t a massive issue as main supermarkets are a 5 min drive away. Only downside I found was the toilet block was a couple of minutes walk away from the tent pitches which with young children they could do with being a bit closer.

Liked: Lovely site, quiet during the week but busy at weekends. 2 play parks and 2 toiket blocks with a bath for little ones. Dog friendly too. Walks right from site to take you into woods along river to lowther Castle which again is dog friendly and has a really good adventure park (only part dogs aren't allowed in). Great site for taking wellies and splashing about in river trying to catch fish in fishing net.
Disliked: The shop is only open during the day until 3pm and is shut on Mondays. It is open later on Saturday and does nice pizzas but there is no food on site out with these times. The drive up to the site is a mile long, but there are pubs doing food just outside the site.. also penrith is just a quick 5 min drive away (took me an hour to walk in to town).
