Pixie Hut camping pod
Liked: So close to the coast and the Devon coast path , so accessible Pub at the end of the fields All the facilities were so well thought out , clean and very well maintained Nice showers / free An undercover space if you needed to shelter Freezer blocks , a microwave and a kettle available in the undercover space plus charging points The owners Colin and Helen were so nice and friendly and helpful, really genuine people that have built up the campsite over the last 37 years and have obviously poured their love into the site We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back and bring our families

From the manager: Thank you for the review Russell and pleased you enjoyed it here. Re signage...sorry, bit late getting everything up and running this year. Blame the lambing and all the rain... its made us go rusty ! ha-ha

Unpowered grass site
Liked: Lovely location, clean, well looked after facilities, luscious grass pitches. Friendly hosts, very good price.
Disliked: Nothing! But the only thing that would make it even better would be a small play area for the children so they can keep busy whilst you can relax!

From the manager: Hello Aleks, thank you for your lovely review, much appreciated. Regarding a play area, we always used to have one but sadly the powers that be decided it wasn't suitable and we had to get rid of it. They wanted us to buy hugely expensive professional playground equipment such as what a school would buy. Unfortunately I believe a lot of small sites like ours have had to do the same. But never say never, we may be able to look into it.
Wonderfully clean facilities, a friendly host with great local intel
