Liked: Super friendly and welcoming staff. Gorgeous views out towards Bodium Castle. Very minimal, natural campsite with plenty of space. Walking distance to the pub!
Disliked: Some spots were slightly on an incline so couldn’t position out campervan in our first choice, but this was really a small inconvenience

Liked: Stunning location with beautiful views. Meadow with designated area for ball games and big pitches that weren't pre allocated - it was nice to have some choice. Really lovely owners who are actually interested in the campers!! Campfires and wood available, and an added bonus that they provided firelighters!
Disliked: The signposting could have been clearer.

Liked: Small, friendly pop up campsite with some basic facilities, including fresh water tap, male & female chemical toilets. If you're looking for wild camping plus basics this site will tick the box. There's no bins on site, so be prepared to take your rubbish home with you. The map pin point didn't work for me instead I ended up about half a mile further down the lane, the What3words address is ///playing.clapper.whips From the top of the field looking down Bodium castle is visible are endless fields. The owner Terry & his assistant Nathan were on hand to answer any questions etc.

Liked: We booked last minute and didn’t know what to expect and couldn’t have been happier with what we found. We had the warmest welcome from the team and they gave us advice where to pitch up. The view was incredible and the field perfectly quiet and plots spaced apart. The toilets were cleaned regularly and the owner checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be coming again!

Liked: We liked the wonderful views across the valley and of Bodiam Castle. It was peaceful and had a very relaxed vibe. Terry and Nathan were friendly and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Also a great location for walks and Terry has done a lot to attract wildlife onto the site.

Liked: - Back to basics natural campsite with great views - Really friendly hosts - Easy to get to local attractions - Easy setup with car next to tent - No strict rules or regulations
Disliked: - Noisy neighbours till past midnight, would be good to have a walkthrough by the owner to get loud people to keep it down - Showers unfortunately stopped working - No waste disposal point

Liked: Warmest welcome and personal attention by the hosts, and we got a spot with a terrific view. All pitches are nicely spaced. It was lovely
Disliked: If I was being nit picking I’d say I prefer compost loos to portaloos …but it really is not picking. The facilities were clean, and that’s the most important thing

Liked: Lovely campsite with great views and well spaced pitches allowing for some privacy and peace. Terry and his colleague were very friendly and hospitable. Toilets were clean. My first experience at a rustic fairly basic campsite with less facilities and actually it was wonderful to just pitch up and enjoy the space. We wished we had more time there. Thank you and will be visiting again for sure.
