Liked: Liked pretty much everything Spacious pitches, staff and security helpful and friendly. Shame we did not had very nice weather to exhaust everything this place offers- but what we did was good. Definitely „recommend” from me.

Liked: We was moved to a hard standing pitch due to the bad weather. Great site, toilet block was very clean.

Disliked: Site was quiet due to time of year and weather. We had to pay £15 each pitch to be next to each other when the place was empty. Closed the club house early on Sunday night with no warning, we was informed when we arrived for the entertainment. Got told we were too noisy when being asked to join in the entertainment on Saturday. Crazy golf was over priced, £7.50 for an adult £5 for a child.

Liked: Site was clean and well kept Plenty of entertainment for kids Entertainment area does get busy but we always found a seat Good size tent pitches Staff seemed very helpful and friendly Lovely pool for kids Overall it seemed like a nice site

Disliked: All the grass pitches were fully waterlogged Car got stuck in the mud and had to be pushed out by my partner and the security team (who were absolute heroes, five stars to the security guys) Would definitely come back but i would only been this site last-minute when the weather is drier to avoid a swampy pitch in future

Liked: The toilets and showers were clean. Nice staff, couldn't do more to help you. The shop on site was very cheap. The pool area was clean.

Disliked: The stand around the tent was very soggy.

Liked: The size of the pitch. The clubhouse facilities were excellent and the staff really helpful.

Disliked: Unfortunately the weather wasn’t in our side stayed during storm Kathleen. Pitches for our Campervan and awning were sodden and we saw other motorhomes and caravans sinking in the mud The WiFi was charged £20 and WiFi wasn’t working. We booked the site as we needed WiFi for our business which even though in holiday we still have to check communication from business partners.

Liked: Amazing camp site. So much to do even if the weather is bad. Swimming pool and play area where amazing and the entertainment was really good. The pub served the best burgers and the kids loved the pizza.

Local attractions

Cornwall’s coastline and beaches are pretty much legendary, but Newquay (10 minutes) is world-famed for its surf and nightlife too. It’s a party town from daybreak until well after dark and the surf's so good they hold international competitions here – check out Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay. Perranporth (10 minutes) is the place to head for a more relaxed beach day, though it’s very popular so best to get your towel down early. The beach here is a fab spot for dog walking, rolling up the trousers for a paddle or lazing around and copping a look at the views. The Eden Project (35 minutes) has the UK’s most realistic rainforest, full of rare plant species and exotic butterflies, as well as a pretty nifty Mediterranean biome. Daredevils can also have a go on England’s longest zipwires – or head over to Flambards in Helston (45 minutes) for flumes, rollercoasters and go karting.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 15 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 14 consecutive nights.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

General

Drones, electric scooters, bikes and hover boards are not permitted.
Entertainment and activities are available between 02/04 and 30/10.

Extras

Facilities/activities including arcade, adventure golf are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.
