Plenty to do with the onsite pool and decent kids park. The Staff were helpful and made sure we were ok while pitched up. The facilities were clean and good (water pressure was good). had a really enjoyable short break.

How friendly the other campers are .. been hear a few times now and its the other campers that make us come back especially this time

Cleanliness has really gone down hill from last year could benifit from fly zappers placed high especially in the front pub area.. we have been hear b4 and was much cleaner last time don’t know weather this is due to staff shortages but was really off putting as we have returned home with loads of bites .. once the staff are back on top of cleaning its a lovely place to go .. just maybe more staff needed as they are very over worked and really all try there best

Staff friendly and work hard, lovely rural area hasn’t got much close so make sure you don’t forget anything

Toilets need updating and cleaning properly we had a shower in the caravan as I wouldn’t use these I’ve been to cheaper sites with cleaner better looked after toilets .Site has potential to be 5 stars as pool pub and play area are a nice extra but it’s needs some serious tlc the site was full when we went and had lots of lovely people on it .

No shop for essentials, could really do with something like this. You don't actually get 5 minutes shower for £1.

The park, the pool, the pub, the food, Mark was amazing (not to be confused with the owner Dougie), bingo night (the locals were super friendly), met some lovely people & my daughter made some lovely friends. We ate at the pub several times and the food was always good & very reasonably priced. Drinks were reasonably priced too, don’t usually drink but they had peroni on tap so a few of those were consumed. The pub sells ice creams, sweets & chocolate for the kids. The pool was great when it was quiet & was often open past the time it was supposed to be closed, was clean & warm. Mark has time for everyone & works his butt off. The staff were all friendly enough & again they don’t stop, really hard working group.

Dougie… gets confused with mark because all the reviews say how nice dougie is so people mistake them. We were there for 12 nights & the only time he spoke to us was when we complained about our neighbours smoking weed & the smell taking over our caravan, not sure anything was said & they left the next day but not before smoking more. On the week nights it gets a bit quieter & dougie goes around demanding the kids go back to their tent/caravan before it’s even 10pm, one family we met were told off because of their tv being loud, again it wasn’t late. On a weekend it doesn’t matter, kids out until the small hours, people shouting & music playing & not a lot done about it. The back of the site was taken over for a few days by people that drank all day, threw up in the pub loo & then blasted music from their car at god knows what time. They were told to turn it off but their party continued & the kids screaming & playing until 2-3am… thankfully we were far enough away & in a caravan for it not to disturb us too much but I did feel for those in tents around them! Horrible group of people. When it’s busy the pool area gets very busy, parents drinking & kids running riot & taking over the pool. The location is very remote, mobile reception pretty bad but wifi available around the pub & on some areas around the field. It’s a 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket which isn’t too bad. Some drivers use the road into the camping field like a race track, no regard for the kids & animals around.

This was our first stay at the site and we were left feeling very disappointed. It is a large site with lots of tents, motor home as and caravans in small spaces although you are allocated the space you need for your tent. The site welcomes large groups which we were unfortunate to be placed between. With one group having a dog barking none stop and another group swearing and shouting until early hours. We would have addressed this with the site but it was one of their staff joining in with the language. The facilities them selves weren’t pleasant. Each time we needed to use facilities they were dirty with tissues in the sink and no toilet roll. We looked at the showers and that was enough to decide we would not use them during our stay. The site has great potential if facilities were cleaned and maintained especially when there are only 3 toilets for the ladies on site. But as yet I can say I have had better and cheaper holidays on the dirtiest park dean sites.

Plenty of space, Toilets clean, showers fine, washing area with hot water.
Pool was good
