Quiet place lovely heated pool quite near to big town for shopping friendly staff in pub

Kitchen was closed for refurb so no meals there had to drive anout 10 miles to eat

Lovely site great for families. Outdoor pool was refreshing

Unfortunately we were eaten alive by midges in the evening. And the pub wasn't serving food due to refurbishment

This site was really good for families. very friendly. Our son made lots of friends. Kids were playing together all day and evening, which is exactly what we want from a holiday. The pool was really good. Park areas was great for all ages children.
Facilities were kept clean through the stay.
The bar area next to the pool was an added bonus for when the kids where playing in the pool

Very crowded when we 1st arrived over the bank holiday weekend (which was expected) a large group behind our tent who had music blasting all day and night. Which we understand people want to have fun but was needed at such high level in the evening. Sure they had a full sound system up 🤣
Showers couldn’t set to an average temperate. It was either red hot or freezing. But quick shower wasn’t too bad to deal with.

Lovely pitches , very peaceful. The showers were nice and hot , we did pay £1 for 5 minutes and I was happy to pay that for a nice shower and 5 minutes was plenty of time . The pool was amazing and the children loved it, it was very warm,
The on-site pub has very friendly staff and the pool table was free to use.
The toilet block seemed to be cleaned often and always has toilet roll available,
All In all going by the price we paid I would definitely recommend this site and would consider returning,

Can’t think of anything that effected our stay, maybe the games room wasn’t available when we stayed but I can’t say this made much of an impact as we had the play area and pool.

Lovely countryside location, spacious pitch, helpful staff and quiet campsite at night.
The play ground and pool were great for kids, and the games room provided inside entertainment.

The facilities were looking a little tired and in need of a bit of mending and updating.

Easy access with motorhome. Site warden helped with water and directions to pitch. Pub wasn’t serving food when we arrived but allowed take aways to be delivered and eaten in the pub.

the camp site was very full and often you had to wait for showers and toilets

Pitches good size, very welcome greeting when arrived, The pool was an winner with our kids, bar reasonably priced and well stocked, play park plenty to keep the kids entertained, toilets and shower dated but cleaned daily, well managed site

Toilet and shower facilities but wouldn’t put us of if going back

Everything was fine. Clean nice pleace. Swiming pool, bar, very good food.
