Du Lac Pesquie is in south-west France with easy access and a good road network to all main attractions, and is is just a three-minute walk from the centre of the pretty bastide town of Villereal. Plenty of attractions of all types are within no more than 15 minutes' drive. Within walking distance are many facilities such as a swimming pool, tennis courts, a supermarket, restaurants and bars. Fishing and a restaurant are both available on site. Among the site's well-kept amenities are services for disabled people and night lighting and CCTV for safety. The toilet/shower block was refurbished in 2016.

Local attractions

The town of Villereal is a short stroll from the site and has a wide range of supermarkets and brasseries as well as local produce shops. A night market with live music is held every Monday. Many activities are available within a short distance. The site is also only a few minutes from the Hippodrome/race track which holds some of the largest race meetings in France.
