Liked: Lovely well upkept tent pitch
Disliked: I used to stay here a lot when I was a lot younger. I thought i would keep the tradition going by taking my young children and was very saddened and dissapointed to see the campsite is now very dated. The indoor 'heated pool' was ridiculously cold on every visit we made, our young childrens lips were blue and they were non stip shaking but stuck at it. For me and my husband the whole session was hell. The lifeguards had a hose with hot water being pumped into the pool. Users ofbtgw pook actually said thw outdoor pool was warmer than the indoor pool. Qe was told to book our session for the pool in advance as it gets really busy however when we went online to book every single session for the whole week qas showing as fully booked. When we complained we was toldnit always shows this and that we should hust turn up My husband was disgusted that there was faeces smeared all over the toilet cubicle walls and even more disgusted to find that after 4 days it was still there and hadnt been cleaned. The toilets were regularly dirty (human fluids on the floor, constantly stained with faeces) and the sinks were left for hours with toothpaste spat out all around the sink as well as on the area around the sink. There are warning signs for asbestos on nearly all the amenities. The arcade is very much dated and alot of the machines are clearly not maintained as they did not work or were falling apart (machine doors hanging open, coin slot jams etc). The laundry facilities were not much better with a few machines (washers and driers) being out of order and the ones that did worknhad a foul smell to them makibg the dirty clothes seem cleaner before they went into the wash! The showering facilities were okay but still pretty grubby with mid all over the floors and a lot of dirt showing they werent really kept on top of. The playing park forbthw kids was okay however with the amount of kids on site our little ones barely got a look in. Location is good as it is right between sandown and shanklin however this was unfortunately the only good thing this time round.

Liked: Swimming Facilities and activities were a great option. Bar and evening entertainment were very good. Wash facilities were clean, pitch size was very spacious, great location. Staff were all very friendly and helpful
Disliked: Bar and food prices and cost to use Launderette were very high. Large group were put right next us for the last few nights when the whole site was practically empty, very noisy until early hours, ruined the last couple of nights for us

Liked: We really enjoyed our week stay here in Landguard. Staff were always around to help if needed. Everything felt so relaxed. The clubhouse is really decent as with the indoor and outdoor pools. The toilets and showers are regularly cleaned, however they are in desperate need of updating. Overall good stay and would come back.

Liked: Staff were really hard working, helpful and friendly The pools were great, clean and not overly busy
Disliked: It was very noisy until about 11-12 at night which didn’t bother us but some people may not like this. Showers were not very good but they were free. The restaurant sold out of many options and was not very good quality or variety for vegetarian food

Liked: Nice relaxed environment, prefer the quieter Landguard but brilliant you can also use Lower Hydes facilities too which are much bigger.
Disliked: Showers/toilets could do with updating, but work well all the same.
