Liked: So peaceful, lovely owner and we enjoyed the farm animals! Very clean and tidy also very environmentally conscious. Our pitch was great and level.
Disliked: Only slight down side were the 2 showers in site. Although very clean, not very powerful

Liked: Wood and fire pits available. Picnic tables dotted around. Great location for walks. Cows and lambs to feed if you want. Very cheap.
Disliked: Only one toilet & shower for all the pitches. Plus they are in same cabin, so if someone is using the shower no one on the site can go to the loo!

From the manager: Hi Richard Thanks for your review and I'm so sorry you didn't manage to see the other 2 toilets and shower at the top end of the field. I think perhaps you missed out the check in process and went straight to the site so didn't get told. Also just so there is no confusion to others staying here yes there are cows and sheep near the campsite but they are part of the working farm so there is no option for visitors feeding I'm afraid. Thanks again and it's a shame I didn't meet you. Kindest regards Fliss

Liked: This was our second pitch which my older children used so as before, Lovely site, clean facilities, lovely views, fire pits available and eggs available to buy. Site run very well and the lady who runs it was lovely. Would definitely stay again. Really like the no music policy as it’s so peaceful. We loved that our 3 year old could get so close to the lambs and cows too. We even managed to see an eagle up close on one of the walls, which was amazing. Nice 15 min drive to few lovely villages.

Liked: Well looked after small site in lovely location, level pitches. Had a hook up as weather is still a bit nippy. Quiet no music policy allows you to escape and enjoy the countryside. Used the off grid shower and compost toilet as well as the mains toilet. hot water throughout and kept clean. Also bought some wood and kindling for the onsite fire pit to keep toasty outside in the early evening. Honesty box for Free range eggs. Nearby walks a plenty
Disliked: It is a lovely area, though there are a lot of long straight connecting paths that if you aren't used to hiking, perhaps are better suited to cycling. Pubs are all short drive away but not easily walkable to
