Liked: Fanatastic, tiny site with a warm welcome for both us and my dog. Spotlessly clean toilets. Other campers were friendly and the dogs played together. There were sheep in the next field with their lambs and a pub within easy walking distance. We loved it and are planning to return the same weekend next year.

Liked: Absolutely love this site it is so peaceful and the owners are lovely and very welcoming. Loved watching the ridibg lessons next to the tent( only 1 per day on the weekend so plenty with nothing happening ) and listening to the lambs and sheep in the fields. Facilities are more than adequate for the five pitches never had to wait for a toilet or a shower. Large pitches and very well kept

Disliked: Leaving

Liked: Nice clean site well kept. Owners left us to it, no interference. Had trouble getting electric hook up sorted and had immediate help from them. Nice to have use of an electric kettle and mugs available to use also books and dvds.

Disliked: We were the only tent but had there been more the toilet facilities and shower would not have been enough. One toilet for men one for women and one shower in total. No fridge available for milk or ice packs. Field with sheep in nearby and horses hence too many flies.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback, however we do feel that some of your dislikes seem very unfair. Firstly, we are a sheep farm (as clearly stated on the pitch up site and during your unannounced pre visit to our site this was still the case). During this time you could have also chosen to cancel your stay if you felt that our site was not for you. Yes we do have sheep and horses close by but they do not affect your stay and most of our campers love to see the animals and this is one of the reasons why they stay with us. Secondly, there was never a fridge advertised on the site and as every one of our pitches has a hook up then our campers usually bring their own if required. In addition, I must just clarify for other campers that our electric hook up did not have a problem it was a user error which we were happy to assist with. Lastly, the toilet and shower allowance is more than adequate for a five up site and is more than many caravan and camping sites that we visit ourselves when camping. We are a small family run site and pride ourselves on trying to make your stay as great as possible.

Liked: Absolutely fantastic location, the most welcoming hosts we've met, Great location with a smashing little pub nearby. Even spent time meeting the 1 hour old lambs. Even though the weather leading up to the visit was wet and poor the site remained open for us and the drainage onsite was good enough for us to pitch without turning it into a mud pie. Would highly recommend this farm based site. Thanks again for a fantastic stay.

Disliked: Couldn't fault the site or the hosts.

Local attractions

Walking boots at the ready… the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (25 minutes’ drive) has some spectacular landscapes, including the Beacon Loop from Great Malvern, the Millennium Hill loop or North Hill. While nature takes some of the glory around these parts – as it rightly should – there's also a range of historical properties that are equally as spectacular. One is the birthplace of the composer Sir Edward Elgar, named The Firs (10 minutes' drive) and a lovely place for a stroll in the cottage gardens. Witley Court and Gardens (15 minutes), where fashionable people once partied, is now an excellent patch for woodland walks or garden strolls, and there are Spetchley Park Gardens (25 minutes) and Priory Park gardens (half an hour) for more of that sort of stuff. If you’d rather spend an afternoon sipping on the fine stuff and touring a vineyard, head to Astley Vineyard (15 minutes). Alternatively, plan ahead and find yourself an event at the Three Counties Showground (35 minutes).
