Liked: An amazing location tucked away down a series of country lanes with cracking views of the surrounding landscape(we did have stunning weather too), Wc/shower facilities are the best I have ever had the pleasure of using - think your own private bathroom suite of which thee are 4 to choose from, really well decorated, clean and simply just fantastic. Pitches are great size, easy access to all facilities including water. Dale the landlord is brilliant, was super helpful generally as well as recommending walks to do - Whitecastle and the local Vineyard are worth a visit - each about 1/2hours walk and mostly on a bridleway so no cars / tractors to deal with! Whilst the Hogs Head does not do food, they do make a Curry order from a local curry house that's delivered to site. The site is quiet, calm, and very clean. The Hogs Head had a great range of Beers on tap and more in the fridges, and is but a moments walk from your pitch. Beer we had from a local brewery was lovely.
Disliked: Only very minor niggle is there is no dedicated washing up facilities that others have been extremely negative about, but you simply have to go old school camping and heat your own water - hardly a big chore with an electric hook up - and this fact would certainly not stop me wholeheartedly recommending the Hogs Head to others (as I already have done) and from staying again.

Disliked: WiFi wasn’t fully connected but it was available at the pub on site. I believe the owner was let down by a contractor so it’s imminent on the pitches too!

Liked: Showers where excellent, but this the only thing found good on the site. Okay the weather did turn out good, so this made up for all others problems.
Disliked: 1 Price was okay other than charge £5 a night per dog for 4 nights £40 2 £20 charge for an awning, never agree with this as space is rent from the main booking fee. 3 Very dirty entry, through a farm yard. 4 Difficult to find, up some very narrow roads. 5 Site on a slop, took some levelling.
