Liked: Beautiful location and pub. Beer garden has beach bar vibe in the midst of peaceful Staffordshire countryside. Despite lots going on at the pub our pitch was still quiet which was perfect
Disliked: Could do with more than one shower.

Liked: Good location, beautiful countryside and the pub is handy with friendly staff and nice food. Pitches sizeable and well kept.
Disliked: One toilet plus a shower/toilet combo - not enough for the number of pitches.

Liked: Great pub, good selection of drinks & nice outdoor area with woodfired pizzas and a BBQ. Safe & secure site with wonderful surroundings.
Disliked: Should have more toilets especially if outdoor pub events are on as they use the campsites toilets instead of inside the pub. On our 2 days there the toilets were flooded both mornings. They did unblock them quickly though wich was good.

Liked: Location was great - surrounded by beautiful countryside with walks and close to Alton Towers. The kids made friends and loved the park. Very clean and tidy site with plenty of space for the kids to play. Well organised with friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: Hard standing pitch was slightly too small for our T6 and awning. Only 1 shower and two toilets between all campers on the site - this was also out of order for two out of our 3 mornings.

From the manager: Hi Thanks for the good review , Sorry about the Toilet issue but we attended straight away and the cause was incorrect items being put down the Loos so out of our control unfortunately. 75% of our Visitors do have there own Toilet/shower so we do cope most of the Time . But we are in the process of Building another additional toilet/Shower Block so be great to see you again when this is done etc. Regards Team Charlies
