  • Peaceful glamping site on the border between Powys and Shropshire
  • A 20-minute drive from Powis Castle or Shrewsbury town centre
  • Smart units with private bathrooms and hot tubs
Welcome and croeso to Welsh Border Glamping, a smart glamping site located close to the border between England and Wales. Set in the peaceful Shropshire countryside, this sleepy spot has an attractive rural location. All units are cosy and kitted out with a proper double bed (some can sleep extra guests) and are dog-friendly, with one well-behaved four-legged friend allowed per unit. Tea and coffee making facilities are also included, and just outside there's a spacious outdoor seating area and a private hot tub just to top it all off. The units aren't ensuite, but each one does have access to a private designated toilet and shower in the communal amenities block. This is also where you can go to find cooking facilities, as the communal kitchen is equipped with a cooker, microwave, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses and other kitchen kit for self-catering days. The site is in an area with plenty of wildlife and very low levels of noise and light pollution, so remember to sit back, tune in to the sights and sounds around you and to look up at the starry skies after nightfall.

Orchard camping pod (hot tub)

Liked: The communal area was brilliant, games, tv, all cutlery and plates provided. Clean and well kept site.

Disliked: I wouldn’t recommend in the colder months with young children. Rain meant it was difficult to get back and too from the communal area and in and out of the pod and keeping it clean etc!

Orchard camping pod (hot tub)

Liked: Another nice stay at Welsh Border Glamping. As usual, everything was excellent. We were only couple who stayed there over Christmas, so, it was completely quiet. Helen put a nice Christmas tree in the kitchen. It was so beautiful. Another thing, Helen put the oil radiators in the pods. By the time we arrived it was nice and warm in the pod. And of course we always enjoy a welcome pack)) Hot tub was brilliant. And we really enjoyed our stay. For certain would like to come again and again and would recommend to anyone who likes to escape from the city or town for a few days.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
