  • Pastureland camping on a working family farm in the Bedfordshire Wolds
  • Saint Neots 15 minutes' drive; 45 minutes from Cambridge city centre
  • Direct access to footpaths/bridleways; farm shop five minutes' drive
Spacious, secluded and surrounded by the Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire countryside, Barn Field Camping is a peaceful site set among the pastures of a working family farm. Located in the rural area known as the Bedfordshire Wolds and with direct access to a wealth of footpaths and bridleways, this campsite is close to the small village of Keysoe, roughly 15 minutes' drive from the larger town of St Neots. This off-grid site is part of a mixed farm with a variety of arable crops plus cattle, pigs, chickens, cats and a dog. You're welcome to bring your own four-legged friend along, but please be advised that dogs need to be on leads at all times because of the livestock. The facilities here are basic, but you'll have access to a portable toilet, drinking water, a marquee shelter, picnic table, and a washing-up area. There are lots of views over the peaceful local landscape, and swallows, skylarks, barn owls, buzzards and sometimes hot air balloons can often be spotted gliding overhead. The nearest farm shop is about five minutes' drive from site, while the smart market town of St Neots should sort you out with supermarkets, local retailers and places to have a meal out.
