Μου άρεσε: Really friendly people in seasonal caravans. Brilliant bar. Party on Saturday with amazing live music. Wonderful evening. Sunday lunchtime meat draw, so funny. Made to feel so welcome.

Δεν μου άρεσε: No one available to check us in or out. Didn’t meet the manager at all. No hard standing pitches available. Steps to toilet block very rickety & dangerous

Από τον διαχειριστή: I'm glad there were many likes and its a shame there were dislikes but as it was a very busy Easter weekend I cannot sit in the office waiting for arrivals, I expect them to read the notice on the door and ring me, It wasn't an issue as you are a former season pitch holder with knowledge of the site and the gate security code. I believe I did meet your partner. You booked a grass pitch with electric, we did have 2 hard standing pitches available on the day but your daughter had specifically requested for you the grass pitch opposite her. We take comments on safety very seriously so the steps in question have been taken out of service with guests being able to use the disabled ramp access instead

Μου άρεσε: Pitch was spacious, clean and neat. At first I thought it was a bit open, but liked it in the end. Was a short walk to the bathroom and shower, which was very clean. A few spiders in the corners, but the cleanliness over rid the creepy crawlies, lol! I like the code security on entrance, keep out unwanted guests 💯

Μου άρεσε: Clean and well maintained site. Warm welcome. We were backpacking and as the bistro closed before we arrived, the owner very kindly arranged some food for us.

Μου άρεσε: We liked the location, it was along narrow lanes but access was easy. It was quiet and peaceful, although we could occasionally hear the dogs from the kennels nearby they were not distracting or continuous. The facilities were clean with plenty of toilets and 3 showers (in females). The staff were friendly and checked on us each day. The ground was nice and flat with room to park cars. We were the only tent among lots of caravans and so had a choice of pitch. Everyone was nice and friendly.

Δεν μου άρεσε: It was difficult to put pegs in fully as the ground underneath layer was gravelly. Many pegs got bent to secure the tent down as we did have a stormy night, but the tent remained up so all was well.

Μου άρεσε: Such a welcoming community of people on site, with a bonus of no children. Never had to queue for the shower or toilet and they were kept well-stocked and clean. The dog field area was a welcome surprise. The bar was easily accessible but a good distance from the pitch so that any noise wouldn't disturb. There were some lovely walks out from the site itself and the scenery was beautiful.

Μου άρεσε: Lovely scenery from the bar, cheap prices, great dog field for exercising, extremely clean toilets and showers, with hot water. Friendly people on site. Stan the Manager very welcoming.

Δεν μου άρεσε: This is mainly a residential caravan and lodge site. We were the only tents, however everyone was very nice and welcoming.

Μου άρεσε: The warm welcome from Stan, the site manager, who was helpful The site had all the facilities that we needed Great little bar with drinks at more than fair prices, friendly regulars and an amazing view.

Μου άρεσε: We met friends here and loved the site. The facilities were brilliant - lots of them and always clean. There was a great little bar on site and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was a good area to explore.
