Positiv: Beautiful and quiet spot, with a lovely view. Loved the shepherds hut with the toilet and the shower. We very much enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was there and the facilities were clean and tidy.

Positiv: We stayed in a standard tent pitch with our Land Rover and roof tent. Fairly small rectangular field site with well spaced level pitches. Lovely and quiet. Very nice shepherd's hut divided in two consisting of a composting toilet/sink on one side and shower/sink on the other. Washing up station on one end too. All areas had hot water! Very friendly owner. Loved the peace and quiet enjoyed a relax by the provided firepit. Glamping set up next to camp site looked fantastic and might give that a go next time.

Vom Platzbetreiber: we're glad you enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location, we do have a pop up country pub next door (fortnightly through the summer) and sometimes there's the fish & chip van at the nearby caravan park too, but I'm afraid the lack of pub & shops is the price we pay for peace & tranquillity, we keep our social media up to date with upcoming functions and pub nights hope to see you again Ian & Emma

Positiv: Lovely remote site, with plenty of room even when fully occupied. Friendly owners. Fantastic views over valley and open fields. Pitch up and enjoy total relaxation. I hear the Glamping in the next field is very good also.

Positiv: This was a beautiful spot, very secluded and private but also accessible for nearby places. I was really impressed with the eco shower and toilet which were beautifully presented and extremely effective - excellent water pressure in the shower! I had not camped for years and I was not exactly looking forward to it, but I had such a lovely time and I will definitely be camping again and would recommend this campsite to couples and families.

Positiv: Loved everything about it! Really peaceful, in a beautiful area. So many stars at night, and walks in the day. Short drive to loads of places with walks, rivers and proper pubs. The site had great facilities (toilet, shower, washing up) and a charming host.

Vom Platzbetreiber: So glad you liked our bathroom facilities, we were keen to ensure they were just as high standard for the camping field as the glamping and it is certainly a loo with a view ! so sorry you would have preferred the grass to be cut shorter, as a back to nature site, we have no hard standing, if we cut the grass too short, when we have storms, the field becomes very muddy very quickly, by keeping the grass a little longer it protects the field, avoids mud in the bathrooms and guests tents & campers, hope to see you again thanks Ian & Emma

Positiv: What wonderful little site. We stayed just for one night but will definitely go back. Very quiet and facilities were lovely and clean.
