Positiv: Beautiful site situated amongst fields and trees and of course right next to the lake. Pitch size was ample, level and very relaxed about where and how you set up. Playing field for kids, very safe, paddle boards and kayak left out overnight. Lake was great fun deep in places so life jackets essential for young children. Plenty of launching areas and picnic tables to put your stuff. Nice walks from site and a pub in walking distance. Cafe on site, closes at 3. You can hire fire pits and logs from the site at a reasonable rate. No Wi-Fi but 4G was fine.

Negativ: Didn’t really dislike anything, however, they could do with more toilets and showers in a purpose built block. What was there was clean and perfectly usable.

Positiv: Everything about Litton Lakes was perfect. Great setting, lovely staff, amazing pitches and all the other campers were lovely. Our 2 and 5 year old wanted to ‘live here forever’. Need I say more

Positiv: We loved this campsite! And will definitely go back! The showers were hot and the campsite was clean and tidy. This campsite would definitely benefit from more toilets and showers but never waited to long. And could text if the toilets needed a little TLC which we did and they got it sorted immediately. I also mentioned the lights at night weren’t working (solar lights and we had a lot of rain and no sun) and they put extra strip lights in which were brilliant! The lake was so much fun to paddle board in with friends and kids. The food and drink at the cafe was lovely and definitely worth a try, rather expensive tho for a sandwich so took the kids a picnic to the lake. The lady that does the paddle boarding lessons is excellent she was so much fun and great with my autistic son that kept trying to knock us off so she kept giving him challenges to keep him busy (he took to paddle boarding like a duck to water). There was groups of people with so many kids we loved that the field had a big middle for the kids to play and that there was also a field to play bat and ball and fly kites.

Negativ: The logs were very Smokey I’m not sure they had been seasoned long enough.

Positiv: The setting in very nice, close to a great pub. The lake is a very relaxing place to sit and let the day go by.

Negativ: Virtually everything else. Needs more investment, more toilets and showers.

Positiv: Everything! Lovely quiet campsite, the lake is beautiful, hired paddle boards was are first time trying this and loved it! Not far away from a beach or west bay. Sarah was always on hand if you needed anything. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Positiv: Fabulous friendly site with flat pitches. Lovely lake for swimming or a gentle SUP. Clean toilets and showers. The games field provided a safe place for other peoples children to play games making cooking outside safer for all. Great access to walks straight from the site.

Negativ: Driveway a bit bumpy!

Positiv: Litton Lakes is a fantastic campsite. The camping area is spacious with good clean facilities. The lake is beautiful and a wonderful addition. The cafe is a great too which delicious drinks and food. The range of vegan options is excellent too, and the staff are very friendly and happy to help. We will be back.

Negativ: Only two showers and two toilets but only had to wait a few minutes at times.
