Five Acres Farm Campsite

Positiv: It was well sign posted and easy to navigate to. The field was flat enough, a good choice of space and not overcrowded. The facilities were very well maintained and clean, even with lots of wet weather! Views were stunning. Llamas and sheep and goats were nice neighbours!

Negativ: Could have benefited from an extra shower cubicle or two.

Positiv: Beautiful scenery and great location. Good toilet facilities. It's a working farm so lot's of lovely animals to see. Great for families. You can put h wherever you like so that's a bonus there is no set pitch sizes. The views are lovely and it's close to all local attractions.

Negativ: The showers aren't great. They are the push button type and not very strong water flow but do the job. I think there should be a bigger dish washing area or at least an extra sink as there's only one and you find yourself waiting around for people to finish their dishes.

Positiv: Brilliant camp site, clean spacious facilities. Host came round each evening to check all was well. Great location for surrounding towns/villages.

Positiv: Great location of campsite between Buxton and Bakewell. The toilets, showers and pot wash were kept clean and had a hot water. The fields were not too cramped and everyone was respectful of noise l, but it had a good atmosphere and felt safe. Surrounded by fields of sheep and llamas which was lovely. Loved being able to hire a camp fire too.

Positiv: Stunning location with great facilities. You just pick a site on arrival and then the staff come round and check you in. I would highly recommend. We would definitely go back.

Positiv: Brilliant campsite! Great location with lovely views over the countryside. Great facilities. The showers were quite powerful for a campsite! Very clean facilities and cleaned regularly. The kids loved the Sheep and Lama's in the next field. Lots of space for the kids to play even though it was quite busy.

Negativ: No dislikes! We had a great time!

Positiv: Great location with gorgeous views. Opportunities to hire fire pits for a cosy night. Flat pitches that you can select yourself. Family-friendly, lots of space to play in the field. The drinking water had a lovely taste. Cute animals.

Negativ: There were queues for the showers and washing-up facilities at busy times. The showers could be improved. It would be nice to have a playground for the children.

Positiv: Lovely, well maintained site with good, clean facilities Owners came round regularly to check everything was ok and if you needed anything. Waking up to the sounds of Skylarks and Curlews was lovely

Negativ: Another washing facility would be good but by no means put me off from staying here again

Positiv: Excellent site with beautiful views and level pitches. Clean and brilliant toilets and showers. The staff were kind and helpful too. Great site, will be back again

Negativ: Due to the self allocation, some people ended up pitching themselves rather close to us whilst we were out walking despite larger amounts of space around.
