Brilliant family campsite. Beautiful views and great facilities.

Quiet site with lovely views.
The animals were very friendly and came up to the fence to be stroked which was nice.
The park is very basic even for a toddler but she still liked to dig and play there although we didn't spend much time on site at all.
The owner Luke (didn't see anyone else) was helpful with ideas of nice beaches to visit but we only saw him a couple of times in the 5 days we were there as we took the kids out every day.
The nearest supermarkets in Holyhead where around a 20 min drive away which wasn't too bad but still a bit of a trek.
We visited lligwy beach which was lovely, it had a bar, pizza, ice cream and a little cafe.
We also visited cemaes which was around an 8 minute drive away and had some nice ice cream there.

The gate that led to the park, indoor games barn and animals was locked every night at 7pm, this wasn't mentioned in previous reviews so I thought it should be.
The water for the showers and to wash up was often cold, I think I only managed to wash the dishes with hot water once.
The shower rail wasn't securely attached so when I was showering my daughter it fell off and hit me right on the nose maybe these should be more secure.
There wasn't anything to do locally, not even a walk from the site, we had to drive everywhere. The weather was hit and miss and everything I searched for to do with the kids was around a 40 min drive away, we visited pili palas and plas newydd while we were there which we enjoyed!
The pitch we were on was slanted which we didn't notice until we were already all set up so our bed was on a slant, the wasps were rife and the wind was terrible at night (not really owners fault) so we packed up and left a couple of nights early as we didn't get much sleep.

2nd visit this year… as good as the first 😀

Very welcoming owners, really friendly and helpful. Lovely site. Very spacious pitches which was great for us, facilities clean and well maintained. Play area, footy nets and the animals kept the kids occupied. Highly recommend this site.

The site was great the Weather a wash out but that's Cornwall when it's good amazing, when raining not so good .

Lots of space between pitches in the hideaway, play area and barn, good shower facilities. Well stocked shop and good extras options of things to hire

Wish there were more toilet and shower facilities, there would be a long wait had the campsite been fuller, frequent queue as it was.

Good location, clean facilities, the kids loved the little park, paddle board and kayaks available to hire, the site is very well looked after and owners are friendly and welcoming!
