We apologise for your poor experience with us, we do clean the toilets several times daily. Unfortunately sometimes guests leave the toilets in an unpleasant state and we may not get back to clean them immediately.
We do provide more than 'dirty toilets', we provide electricity hook up, chemical toilet, grey water for disposing of waste water and you can also take on fresh water. We have security gates and night time security lighting and we do price low and accordingly.

Thank you for your review, just for clarity for two weeks each year the fun fair comes to town and we kindly accommodate them. It is a short temporary arrangement. When this happens we advise everyone booked in that we have a fun fair on site and guests can opt out if they wish. The fun fair generally does not cause any disturbance as it generally operates between the hours of 7pm and 10pm. We do apologise if the fun fair caused you disturbance.
There are two types of ground, hard standing which is the gravelled area you mention in your review and there is grass pitches, unfortunately the weather this year did not allow for the grass area to be utilised as much as previous years. The Electricity supply is 6amp which is sufficient to power lights, TV and any campervan/caravan low wattage appliances, it will not supply home/domestic kettle or hairdryer as these are generally much higher amp. For information it is possible to purchase a kettle specifically for use in caravans/ motorhomes or alternatively you could use a kettle on gas.

Hello Aileen, We are sorry your experience at our Aire was not up to your expectations perhaps if you have read the description in advance of booking you would have seen what we do and do not provide. Most importantly you would have seen that we are not a campsite and do not provide campsite facilities, we are an Aire de Services therefore we feel we must respond to your negative review. Our site is an Aire de Services which if you have any experience travelling on the continent you will know is a basic site with services such as EHU, fresh water, chemical toilet and waste water and we price accordingly. Our site is specifically targeted at campervans/motorhomes who have their own on board toilet facilities however in addition to the basic services we also provide toilets. The toilets are cleaned several times daily, and unfortunately down to customer usage they may require cleaning five mins after cleaning.
You also rated our site 1 for facilities but you don't say what we are missing as we provide all the services a motorhome requires.
You rate customer service as 1, but again you don't say what was lacking, all customers are met on site and welcomed so unless you wanted us to move in with you I am not sure exactly what else we could have provided for you by way of customer service.
Location is rated as 3 despite the fact that we are 3 mins walk from the town centre with pubs, shops and restaurants and only 1km to lovely beaches. Again we don't know why this rating was given. Value for money is a 1 with no explanation despite the fact that our charges are the lowest in the country at the moment.
It would be very beneficial for people booking our site to actually read the description first as it is very clear what we do provide and what we do not.

We are very disappointed with your review and wish you had brough to our attention your dissatisfaction with our Aire while you were on site as we would certainly have refunded you and could have directed you to a more appropriate site for your needs.
We would like to respond to your complaint that we do not have showers, you are being very unfair as we are very clear in our description on Pitch Up that we do not have shower facilities because we are an Aire de Services and not a campsite. We provide the essential services only, ehu, waste water, fresh water, chemical toilet, male and female toilets, security gates and lights and we price accordingly, we are one of the cheapest Aire's in Ireland at the moment. We are set up to welcome motorhomes, vehicles who have their own shower and toilet facilities, we have put in place additional toilets purely as a support facility for our customers.
You rated us 2/10 on Wifi but we do not provide Wifi and this is stated in the description!
You rated other areas 2/10 but didn't expand to say what the issues were and therefore we cannot address them.
It it such a pity that guests do not read the description of our facility before booking because then at least guests could make sure the facility met their needs. We keep having to point out to some guests that we are not a campsite therefore we do not have showers, we are an Aire de Services and we are priced as such.
