Lovely small site with field views - host was really friendly & helpful - great pub 2 miles away with lovely food, cycle path/walking to either York or Selby just 2 mins from the pub

Met at the gate by Andrew who explained where everything was and walked us to the pitch and ensured we were happy with it. Grey waste disposal on pitch and electric/fresh water within reach. Lovely view over a field of crops. Very well maintained. One of the cleanest elsan points I've come across. Site itself was quiet and peaceful although being such a warm weekend there was noise from surrounding roads of motorbikers giving it the beans....(Which I like). Will definitely return.

Nothing to dislike.

Met at the gate by the owner Andy who was very helpful and showed us to our lovely pitch. The grounds are extremely well maintained and the pitches are very flat and spacious. The site is brilliant for those peaceful countryside getaways with the added bonus of being 20 minutes bus ride to York. Bus stops directly outside the site. Electric hookups are close to the pitches . Enough fresh water points and a spotlessly clean Elsan point. Information hut provides info on things to do and places to go. We enjoyed our 2 night stopover so much, it's on our radar to visit again .

Has cycle route to York (7 miles) and Selby (10 miles)

Bus stop right outside for 42 bus.

Spacious and flat pitch. Immaculate grounds with strolling peacocks and a great information / resources (books / DVD's & Pamplets) shed. Fantastic host and only 10 minutes drive into York.

Warm welcome, good pitches.
Everything kept to a high standard.
