We’re sorry the slope of the ground made things difficult with your motorhome. We did offer you levelling ramps. We do have some more level areas on site, so if you return, please let us know when booking and we’ll do our best to allocate a pitch that better suits your needs.

We also value your suggestions about having a small shop for essentials, but we encourage our guests to use the community shop in the village.
Rhyd y Galen is a place to relax, so we don’t have a club house or amusement arcade, but we do have a games barn with pool table, table tennis, table football and skittles (all free to use)
The bus will stop by our entrance and I’m sorry to hear that the taxi was expensive in your opinion.
