Everything We can’t fault our stay at Oak Tree Lane, it was perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left Phil and Sera made us all feel welcome. The site is beautiful, the views are endless from any view point. We were attracted to Oak Tree Lane because it only has two pitches and we were not disappointed. The pitches were very large and it almost felt like we were the only ones there, even though other were families around. The facilities for a camping trip are more than you could ask for. We had our own private bathroom, with shower and toilet. It was large and meant all five of us could use it at the same time. Definitely a treat, considering we usually brush our teeth in a washing up bowl. There was a fresh water tap in the middle of the field, which meant it wasn’t a long walk to top up our water supply. Oak Tree Lane sell their own produce and it was amazing. We tried the bacon, eggs and sausages. Which were all a hit and really did highlight how inferior the supermarket alternatives are. Sera and Phil really were the perfect hosts, friendly and generous with their time. They were always happy to talk, with us and our children when we saw them but at the same time we had enough space to relax on our own. Of all our camping adventures, this is our favourite by far. It was peaceful and stress free. The children had space to play and we felt safe in letting them visit the toilets by themselves. Lastly, we can’t forget the best neighbours we have ever had camping. The sheep. We all fell in love with them. We will be back and want to try one of the wood lodges next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay Phil and Sera x
