The site was so clean, owner very friendly. It was really handy to be able to pitch up and depart without a time frame. The views were breathtaking. Very local for lots of walks, horse riding and activities. Toilets well kept and replenished also.

That we did not book for a longer stay! It was lovely.

The views are stunning and the campsite was quiet. It is well situated close to Hay on Wye and Talgarth and has plenty of drinking water points dotted about.

We never saw any campsite staff, were not greeted and the toilets were not as clean as they could have been.

Campsite and surrounding area was lovely. Had someone come out to say they were a bit short staffed but to go to a house if we needed anything, which was really good to know. Facilities were fairly basic, but clean. I felt very safe and it was very affordable! Excellent place to stop off for the night, and woke up to an amazing view which is always a bonus.

I only stayed for one night, so I didn't have a shower, but I think it can be difficult to charge people for a shower, especially if only coins are accepted.

Quiet Campsite and amazing views

No Bins. Directed you to a local recycling centre that only had containers for cardboard and clothes, still nowhere to put glass/plastic/general waste. The lack of bins was a real problem as local wildlife kept getting into bin bags over night.
