Really lovely place - the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was right by the train station which made it easy to get around without having to drive everywhere. The kids lovely the cows and goats and generally exploring the area.
The camp site was quite without there being ridiculous rules. We travelled with small children and friends and would recommend.

Although the train station was handy it was very noisy when the train went through the station - only really an issue when the little once we're asleep. There are only two toilets which again wasn't a huge problem because the site wasn't very busy but I can imagine it would be at busier times.

Lovely little quiet site right next to the beach with beautiful views. Village has a park, pub and shop all within a short walk. Kids loved the cows and the goats which you can feed with goat food from the little on site farm shop. Husband said pork pies from the farm shop are the best he's ever had.

We loved this little site. Such a friendly welcome and the combination of sea and glorious countryside is hard to beat! It’s a really simple site with only 2 toilets and showers but that is what we came away for. Simplicity. We didn’t want to leave 😍

We stayed in the ‘highland cow’ camping pod which faced the field the highland cows were in and got to see the new beautiful calf, which was lovely! I can’t fault the campsite at all. It was very quiet and peaceful. We walked down to the beach every night which was only 5 minutes walk away and it was beautiful. Toilets were clean and everybody was super friendly. We will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

On arrival at Hendre Hall we received a warm welcome, this welcome continued with all of the staff we met during our stay. The location for us was great as we wanted time on the beach with our dogs, within a few minutes walk you are on the sand. The site itself has a lovely farm shop which offers excellent produce, there are nice toilets & showers (though only 2 of each) and a decent wash up area, it was working well for us at the start of the week as it was quiet.

The site staff started to carry out groundworks for new containers immediately adjacent to our pitch midweek, there was no explanation or apology for the disruption and it went on for hours, jobs we felt were for times when no guests were going to be affected by it. The site has limited space and pitches are squeezed in which made it uncomfortable and lacking any privacy when it filled up at the weekend. The 8.30pm curfew on the check in time is late which i am sure is helpful for guests travelling far however it meant that we were still subjected to two parties still setting up banging in pegs etc at 10.30pm on the pitches opposite to us, the group then started to BBQ and they remained noisy until almost 1am, the same noise gathering momentum again at 7.15am, not the sites fault I know but made all the more worse due to them being so very close, a Child was also zooming around the site on a motorised scooter until 11.30pm flashing lights into our awning and spinning wheels on the loose gravel on the site road which runs immediately next to some pitches on each circuit, at one point they went straight over the guide lines of our awning, unfortunately there was no presence of site staff to ensure that their terms were being adhered to in the interest of other guests enjoyment.
We really wanted to like Hendre Hall as the staff were lovely and it really could be a wonderful site but for us it certainly won’t be on our list to visit again, this mood being felt by others too who were equally affected by the cramped pitches and noise, we left early as we really didn’t want a second night of disruption when we get very little chance to holiday.

The location was perfect for us. Staff were great too.

The pitches were quite compact and close to each other. Wasn't too bad but if all pit he's had been full it would have felt it.

Excellent views out to sea. Owners very helpful made sure we had everything we needed. Lovely farm shop and lots of plans for future I believe.
Toilets and showers very clean but maybe could do with a couple more when site gets busy. 20p for showers was ok and putting 2 in was plenty very reasonable I thought. Just a small thing but could have done with a small stool/ shelf in shower room. Overall had a lovely weekend stay.

Loved this place. Felt at home from the moment we arrived, the hosts are really fantastic. Suffered from the dreaded “cable drag” on the way to site and the owners were so helpful with the repair process.
The farm shop is fantastic, the bread, the venison burgers, the steaks, the hot pies, the beers ,the cider etc. Fab pitch by the goats who were great company.
Easy access to the beach and the train station, used for day trips to Barmouth and Tywyn.
The weather was amazing and sunsets stunning we will be back for sure.

Showers a bit tricky to set to right temperature.
