toilet/shower block was inadequate.
Only one male and one female toilet and 2 unisex showers that you had to pay for.

Nothing, maybe could do with more facilities only 1 female and 1 male toilet and shower.

A beautiful and clean site, owners and staff were very helpful and wanted to make the stay memorable.

picking at straws, maybe a larger toilet block facilities would have been nice, but they were very clean and tidy all the time.

A nice warm welcome from super friendly staff. Clean facilities and a short pleasant walk to the beach. Luxury items in their shop are delicious and the cafe / bar passes away a nice sunny afternoon.

The entrance to the site is very narrow and also not straight. You need to go past the site and turn around in the village to gain access with a touring caravan...no mean feat as the village is on a twisty narrow road.
We also did not like the closeness of the pitches, particularly with the size of the caravans being allowed on...this is a site that definitely needs a size limit on the booking page. This gave us a feeling of very little privacy. We had taken our awning down (which had paid for) on our last full day and were asked to move our car to the other side of our caravan to allow space for a motorhome which was not a problem but does demonstrate the limited space.
There is only 1 toilet block containing 1 male and 1 female, there are 2 steel containers containing 2 more but have no electric in them and no windows so are pitch black...take a torch.
Finally beware of the photos of the site, the sea view pics are from the reception area which is of a higher vantage point, the reality is if you are on that front row you will be looking at the railway embankment!

Superb views out to sea, mostly level pitches with hookup, we were on pitch eight and would have struggled to put up the awning as it was sloping but as we were only staying one night it suited us perfectly.
In a paddock next to the site there’s are some goats which pleased my wife immensely.
The village has a pub that does a good range of pub grub, very friendly locals and a pleasant way to spend an evening.

Having to pay for the showers, twenty pence for two minutes, or ten minutes for a pound, having said that the facilities are good and it would only be an issue for us if we had stayed longer.
The site has rail line running alongside which has a regular service, the saving grace being there is a small station just up from the site which means the train that consists of two carriages is never travelling very fast and so doesn’t cause any disruption.

Friendly owners, great views, stoney beach access, new bar on site selling local brews.

Beautiful location and lovely spot to pitch our tent. Short walk to a lovely dog friendly beach. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and even bought our fresh bread to our tent. The village was just so picturesque and a lovely pub just a few minutes stroll away. They even had a herd of Aberdeen Angus cows and pygmy goats you can make friends with 😊
